It’s got pretty good pacing, fairly interesting characters overall, really interesting characters in Darwin and Buddy Aces and as a bonus, Ben Affleck takes a roll that you think he’ll keep alive until the end, only to be dropped in an unexpectedly quick manner No hate on Affleck, just not the kind of character end that you’d expect from an actor of Affleck’s caliber

Book of Eli isn't a terrible movie, but it has a twist that takes the alright action thriller to pretty good. After leaving the titular Eli for dead and stealing the bible Eli was transporting, the main villain prepares to use it to proselytize his followers into action only to discover that it's in braille. Eli, the ass kicking drifter who killed shit tons of this dude's men, was blind the whole time. It answers why it took Eli 30 years to get to the west coast, because he couldn't see where he was going. It's actually foreshadowed if you pay attention to his actions in the story, lot of things someone would easily see, like a dead iPod or mint condition boots, Eli can't.

But it's revealed to he a prostitute who pretends to be a dead person and has full-body make-up. It's just so weird kinda funny how they interact as she says she has to be home pretty soon.

That's not even close to the twist in the movie. It's that Adrian's brother may have been the person in the suit all along. Deborah Anne Woll died in the first Escape Room Holland Roden played Rachel in the second Escape Room 👍🏼 And they finished the plane scene from the first movie at the beginning of the second film to which Zoey didn't get on the plane because she was still scared of getting on planes.

There were two versions. I saw one in theaters and then a few months later I saw a reactor watch a different version and I was so confused. They had different endings.

Why does this channel hate Smokin Aces so much? Insane. Fun ass movie with, as they say, a great cast imbued with a ton of energy

I didn't know about all those plot twists at the end of Smokin Aces because I always turn it off after the gun fights and skip the stupid hospital plot. I forgot any of that stuff happened.

Basic is a fun watch. I hate that it seemingly sets up the story to continue as a series or at the very least a sequel, but there wasn’t one.

Wish you guys would put a list of the movies/games you're gonna spoil ON the video, before you shout out the twists/endings or whatever on the next entry.

That description of smokin aces is how I feel about Ryan Reynolds. I know, I know. It just..gets old man. Taraji was the best part of that movie for me.

It wasn't really Violet and Ben in Skeleton Key, it was the two black servants that worked for a young Violet and Ben's family. Just thought I'd clear that up 😊

Can someone explain why they would think that putting people who already have ptsd into a simulation of a war to 'fix" their ptsd that was caused by war in the first place was a good idea?

Smokin Aces 1+2 wasn't super bad, lol but a movie you don't need to think about

It’s kinda fun to think about tho and look for little bits that make sense after you know the twist. Especially with a few friends over drinks.

@bt0694 Agreed and oddly enough I prefer the 2nd one over the first even though the 1st was star studded
