@@ninoslavradic873Jokic was invited to receive the award live on Inside the NBA. Jokic took the time to attend during a difficult period in the series (being down 0-2 to the Timberwolves), and Shaq told Jokic to his face that SGA deserved the MVP, not him.

@KyBowhunter-cy7zh It drives me crazy how Embiid is treated like a favourite child. He has been a fraud for years no surprise and he now injures opposing players and himself, yet he get not much hating done on him by the media. His fans are obviously and unsurprisingly worshipping him but the media should be unbiased, give him the lashing he deserves. Embiid is going to be one of the biggest stain in Jokic's accolades and career, not because he is a tough competition that comes in his way of a championship but robbing him off of a 3peat MVP

Jokic is more skilled & more dominant than Shaq was! Shaq relied a lot more on his massive frame than actual basketball skill & IQ. Different rules back then allowed Shaq to stay in the paint indefinitely, get the ball & then just dunk it without even moving his feet. Not a lot of skill involved there. Let's not forget that Shaq benefited immensely by playing on Lakers, with Kobe, & being coached by Phil Jackson.

I'm not all that much of a basketball fan, but I've probably spent more time watching Joker highlights than any other NBA player. He's sort of a combination of Larry Bird, Jason Williams and Hakeem Olajuwon, which not only makes him a great shooter, but entertainer as well. I'm waiting for him to take his game to the next level with no-look shots at the hoop.

I get confused with how they call this now a days too, but the first step when he gathers the ball would be the gather step, and then he takes two additional. Not sure if they changed this rule from when I watched in the 90’s, are more lenient, or players take better advantage of it in today’s game. Either way, not a travel in this case.

If this isn’t the best player in the league, it’s Luka doncic. It’s awesome how the Europeans teach fundamentals and play defense while basketball here in the USA has become theater where no one plays defense and even the players are dumb enough to only care about flashy scoring and never fundamentals and defense. I hope the Europeans keep eating their lunch. AAU is a mockery of basketball

My favorite player is LeBron James. Okay on the first one you have to blame Hachimura for LeBron not even trying so that doesn't count. The second one was Davis' fault that LeBron gave up on the play so that doesn't count. On the third one LeBron tried for a split second and then gave up so that doesn't count. The fourth clip LeBron didn't even try because of Russell so that doesn't count. The fifth one was obviously coach Ham's fault that LeBron didn't try so that doesn't count. On that sixth one LeBron thought about trying to defend then decided not to so that doesn't count. So really this wasn't a fair comparison at all. If LeBron tried I'm sure he'd be just as good as Jokic.

Kobe was a me first ball-hog who was better as a second option than he was as a primary option. He might have been the closest thing to Jordan, but that doesn’t mean he was better than other great players who are ahead of him in all-time rankings. It just means that out of any wing player we have seen since MJ, Kobe was the most comparable based on his style of play and attitude. Did he have Jordan’s career? No. Jordan was the #1 option on six title teams. Kobe was the #1 option on two title teams and the #2 option on three others.
