Hold up...how is a shin to the side of the head better than a punch to a grounded opponent? Also when the fighter stops responding to strikes on the ground the fight is called off. Any of these knockouts in the video would have been called off by the ref before any ground strikes were needed

Do you think on MMA we don't have a shin to the head?AT LEAST is a shin on a well trained and awakened fighter, not on a sleeping and defensless one...Nothing against MMA, I just find unecessary violence on a already beaten up opponent...

@@hernanedias554 ok before you get your panties in a bunch....im a Muay Thai guy. I love it and have been training for 10+ years and coached for 3 years. You are obviously missing the point where the fighter on the ground is capable of defense while he is on his back. As soon as he does become defenseless (balls up or gets knocked out)...the fight is over. No matter what sport you watch, when there is a loss of consciousness, the fight is stopped. I think you just don't like the way it looks.

My favorite thing about Muay Thai isn’t the striking, it’s really about who’s tougher. It’s mostly mental strength, but I always found Muay That fights are mostly determined by self-belief, purpose, just pure Rocky “it's about how you can get hit and keep moving forward.”

Elbows are amazing: -Faltered a haymaker or hook? Transform into a elbow -Need a quick and powerful attack to use in a clinch? Use an elbow -Beginning to get tired and in need of a low effort strike that still has some good force? Use an elbow -Caught the opponent with his guard down and in need of a powerful attack to pretty much crack his skull open with? Use an elbow
