    So firstly, thank you for an amazingly clear and easy to follow video - I'm only a month into yoga, and found the detailed description of each pose very helpful. A quick question - ought the inner front of my hip joints ache in child's pose? I have no difficulty with my muscles in that position, but am aware that i have slightly reduced hip flexion due to my bone structure, so don't want to do damage. If they should not, do you have any advice for adapting the pose to reduce the joint flex in that position?

    This is *exactly* what I need - a slow, no-pressure introduction that even someone who can't sit comfortably cross-legged with a pillow can get through and feel pretty good about. After several failed attempts with yoga, I never thought I'd hear myself say this, but I'm looking forward to the next lesson!

    I like that it was slow that I could actually get to the right place and still have time to breathe before you moved on. And you have a calm, relaxing voice. I've tried yoga before, but today felt good!

    That was such a simple workout, but I still got lots out of it! Especially all the detail you gave for the tabletop position, which I’m sure I’ve held thousands of times over the past few years, but it worked my body more today than I think it ever has! I definitely want to give the 1 minute hold a go. Getting back to basics is a good thing to do!

    I totally agree. This tabletop made my arms and shoulders burn eventhough I'm used to planks and push up position even on a galopping horse. SarahBeth makes us work hard while still being gentle to our bodies...

    @@Amadea27 Agreed, I have done table top and cat cow many times over the past couple of years, particularly in prenatal and mommy and me yoga, and we never got into the details of those poses. Thank you Sarah Beth for introducing me to a stronger table and cat cow practice!

    Just did the first of 7 day 10 minute yoga challenge. I really appreciated the slow pace--allowing me to feel each micro shift in my body. I liked it was only 10 minutes, so not hard to commit to it. During beginning of pandemic, I discovered your video on yoga for sadness and depression which really helped. And as I wrote then, the calm and reassurance and knowledge comes through into your voice, which is rare in teachers, and which I particularly respond to. So thank you. I will continue.

    Started my 7 day beginners challenge today with Beginners Stretch. I'm 67 years old and have been very isolated during the pandemic, gaining weight and losing some physical fitness. I'm a bike rider (casual) and I keep active mowing my own lawn and such. I was surprised with how much flexibility I have lost over the last year or so! WOW. Determined to slowly work back into flexibility and losing some weight along the way. LOVE the way you explain and love the cadence of your videos. Thank you!

    I started doing Yoga to your videos just a few days ago when I decided that something in my life needed to change and I need to get a little more fit and flexible. Usually I hate doing any kind of sports/ workout because I never feel good afterwards, just exhausted, sweaty and miserable (People say Jogging releases endorphins but I have yet to notice that) - but I remembered how different it was with Yoga, I felt relaxed after, back when I first did it a few years ago. And today I am proud to say, I not only did this routine BUT I even have enough energy to do another, a little more challenging one directly afterwards. I notice I am making progress and thats something I never had before and I even want to do my yoga routines! Its amazing and the way you explain the poses and really take your time and let us take our time in these Videos helps so much! Thank you

    I enjoyed the gentle stretching and was pleased to learn that I didn’t need any special equipment. I started off on a chair but was taken by surprise to have to move to the floor for the table top pose. In future I will watch first.

    I have made some major life changes recently trying to find myself and happiness. Part of this journey was that I wanted to start Yoga. I have zero experience.     I love the direction she gives and the reminders to relax things like your jaw, I noticed I wasn't relaxing until she mentioned it.

    I'm 35 and just doing Yoga for the first time. Your instruction was clear and I love the calm atmosphere you've worked to create in this video and a few others I've already done. This morning I was so sore from working on a room remodel yesterday and this was the first time I'd done the dog and cat positions... And omg... I needed it so badly. It was the perfect stretch this morning. Thank you for sharing your videos and talent. They are already making a huge difference in my life and I feel like I'm starting my days off in the right mindset.

    I started with yoga about 2 months ago and can i just say my body does not hurt anymore, i have more energy. Ever since in my early teenage years by body have just gotten worse, i am 22 now and with your videos in two months i feel a lot better, you Sarah is a god send to me and i hope you have a wonderful life and keep helping others the way you help me

    I have terrible pain in my back, hips and legs. I'm looking to lose weight and get fit slowly. My nutritionist said to start and beginning yoga and see if it would help. I started your 7 day yoga challenge. It's perfect! I have to modify it some since I can't get on the floor, but even so, I feel great right now. This is amazing. Certainly not what I thought it would be. I was envisioning all sorts of contortions that I knew I wouldn't be able to do. You are amazing in this beginner video. All I can say is thank you! Just the simple stretches seemed to help my body and to BREATHE, which I don't do because of the pain and my stress. I did it and I feel great. I may have to do it again at lunch time. Oh, I appreciate you. Thank you so much!

    I am pleased with this gradual getting to know yoga, no pressure to get it right. One pose at a time, achieving small goals at my pace. Looking forward to tomorrow.

    Just signed up for the 7 day yoga challenge. Did the first 3 days after going to urgent care on Tuesday and the X-ray is showing Hip Osteoarthritis. Hoping for relieve after starting this challenge and doing 30 minutes today. First time with you.

    I am almost 40 and have gotten weak and flabby so I decided it was time to take better care of my self. I came across your channel and tried a couple of your videos and I felt so good right away! I saw your 7 day challenge and decided to try that too. Your instructions, calming voice and demonstrations are so easy to follow! I had tried other yoga videos in the past but I just couldn't follow them because I didn't know the basic poses yet or they went too fast or were not as clear or the music made me sleepy. Lol! I am trying to make healthier choices for myself and I am starting with your yoga channel!
