In this video, I take a deep dive into Penang, Malaysia's world famous street food, first stopping at the Kimberley market in Georgetown for a little Shrimp Char Kuey Teow and an Oyster Omelette. After which I hit the street hawker stands for a bowl of Hokkien Mee Prawn noodle. Its blood red broth was very satisfying. My next stop was little India for some Muslim Indian fare. Egg Biryani and Chicken Sambal Curry to be exact, with the side of flatbread and Chai Masala Tea. For a brief, but necessary reprieve from the heat I sat down at the famed, Bao Teck Tea House for some delicious shrimp dumpling soup as well as crispy meatball dumplings with scallop and picked radish. Finally I head to another large outdoor street market for some Chinese infuenced pork noodle soup and a Malaysian Iced dessert , Ais Kacang (Bean Ice) which turned out to be quite delectable.
