I am definitely a paper planner girl! I love my Erin Condren Life Planner. It’s so important to stay organized in this field as the deadlines for meetings, reports…etc approach fast. I love this as usual ❤💪🏾

Great list Dom! I literally just downloaded, spread the language. That will come in sooo handy! Also, I’ve been so spoiled with applications that graph for me. 🤦🏿‍♀️ I’m ashamed to say I learned when there was pen and paper and my BCBA taught us how to graph with paper and do trend lines etc….Giiiirl if I had to do it by hand now, I’d need a refresher. Just shameful😩😭. Also I’m a planner girl (pen and paper) I have so many of them but don’t use them regularly lol. I gotta get myself more organized. It’s been a life struggle lol

I’m the same way. I buy a planner, fill it up, just to loose it🫠. But that’s okay. I glad you enjoyed the video !

Hello I have a question can you gain your supervision hour to become a BCABA by doing them as a RBT ?

Can I ask you a question as a BCBA? Why do some BCBAs create target goals that in a long run won’t be useful to the client. For example, I have a kiddo that is 6 years old with autism. He basically does what he wants to do. He does not attend to any activity given and could care less about playing with anything. However, he loves to grab/pull hair and biting (hisself and others). These behaviors become worse when he’s having a tantrum. He becomes extremely aggressive as well. There is not 1 target goal/treatment plan to combat/replace this behavior. NOT ONE! I feel like I am a babysitter! I’ve have tried talking to the BCBA on the case and it does no justice.

Can I ask you why he engaged in that behavior?

What did you BCBA say in response to your question? Did you document your concerns? There could be many reasons why that kiddo’s programing is the way it is… but without context I don’t want to assume. Bottom line is, your BCBA or their supervisor should be supporting you with your concerns and at least telling you why.
