    I use a sponges to soak up all the water is the engine area, that I prop the seat up to allow air in until everything is dry. I've found that if you put the seat on tight with water in the hull area everything get covered in black mold.

    I use my gas blower to get the water off the foot wells and under the seat. I also blow into the nozzle. Gets everything out of the propulsion

    Do you have any issues with the fluid film on the rubber components in the engine bay?

  • @JetSkiCamping

    @JetSkiCamping

    3 жыл бұрын

    Fluid film advise that it’s safe to use on rubber. It does have a strong smell and because it’s relatively thick and sticky (long lasting) it can be messy.

    @@JetSkiCamping i will give it a shot, I have 4 cans of it and 2 skis, I have just read that rubber products may swell. Another question for you, does the dish soap work as well as salt off or salt away for flushing the motor and engine bay?

    Not something you should have to do regularly but if saltwater has got into your hull it can be a useful technique to rinse the engine mounts as they are hard to reach.
