10 Items To Buy Before Shortages Hit Stores In The Months Ahead

We're just starting to see the consequences of global geopolitical conflicts on supply chains right now. As tensions grow in the Middle East, Europe, Asia, and close to home, many countries have started to limit exports of several products, and now the United States is competing with other nations that are also on the search for new suppliers.
Over the past few years, our domestic food production has declined in many areas due to worsening climate issues. Drought during the summer has impacted fruit, nut, and produce crops, and also forced cattle ranchers to send their animals to slaughter much earlier than they normally would, which has sharply reduced our beef cow herd. Heavy rain during the winter impacted the harvest of many foods as well. Pests and viruses further contributed to tighter inventories.
Our industrial sector is also struggling with shortages of imported items. Even more concerning, the U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserve has been depleted and never replenished, and now many refineries are closed due to seasonal maintenance. In other words, if any emergency disrupts the production of gasoline and other fuels, prices are going to escalate very quickly, and stations may run out of supplies before people get a chance to refill their tanks.
On top of all that, we must remember that our power grid is in a very vulnerable state. Blackouts are becoming more frequent each year, and the fact the U.S. is involved in many political discussions in the global arena puts a target on our backs, making us susceptible to facing cyberattacks.

You don't need 7 figures to be comfortable. Its a lifestyle problem! Making 300,000 a year and still living check to check Living above their means. Gotta have the biggest house, financing cars etc. Get a comfortable home, you can make 50,000 a year and still be saving 3,000 a month, if you live simple and comfortable. Not lavishing your money! I appreciate what this brother does for this informational!

Quit believing and repeating the lies. The reason our food is so expensive, is because the brokers are purposely restricting the amount of food being made available to America processors and stores. They increased sales of our food to foreign markets by 18% just from last year alone. A total of 177 billion dollars worth of food was sold to overseas buyers, which means we are subsiding their good purchasing deal with our inflation. 1.3 million tons of beef, 94 million tons of corn, 4.9 million tons of citrus fruit were sold to foreign buyers, all while claiming there's a food shortage to American consumers. We are being lied to and manipulated to spend more for what is actually abundant and readily available. Understand one thing; we are being bankrupted because we are betrayed.

Dehydrated foods high in protein are definitely something to think about. Calories are high, protein is high in certain types of brands. 38 grams of protein per package can feed 2 people per day. Each pack is around $10 bucks. I buy a few every time I drive by the store that sells them. Over time, with little inputs of money, ive amassided almost 6 months of food. I've been buying rice and grains, barley, coffee, non dairy creamer, treats, why's of procuring water, propane over the last few months with minimal upfront costs and storing them. I vacuum bag these grains with silica packs and put them black and yellow storage totes from Lowes. There's 10 of them in my garage, and counting. Small propane stove, to cook and boil water for 6 months. I can put 12 of those totes in my truck. Have a preplanned place to go. Guns, ammo, hand crank radio, generator, meds, butt wipes, soap, cleaning products, camping equipment. I also buy those small fire starting logs, have hand saws. Basically everything you'd need that you have at home to live somewhere else. I've 99% of this stuff at thrift stores for a fraction of the price. Stuff it in those totes, what for D day. If it never happens, you have tons of stuff to use, if it does, you're prepared. Easy peezy. It's all about doing it little by little over time, not going out and spending thousands in one or two days. Make a preliminary list of things you need, over time add to that list and cross out things you've bought. Be smart, no one is going to help you. Especially the gov.

I would recommend? Getting more than 1 solar genny and getting a GAS generator as well as some TREATED gasoline storage. You are going to get days and even WEEKS with bad sun, and voila... there goes your refrigerated food! Literally, relying exclusively on solar panels during a power loss with a solar genny is a bad call, because you have NO CONTROL over the sun and the cloud conditions day to day. Use the GAS generators to charge the SOLAR generators on cloudy or high demand days! Note.... We went with Ecoflow solar gennys simply because of the SPEED of AC charging. Ecoflows will charge from 0%-100% in about 70 minutes, saving you a TON of gasoline with the gas genny. The first solar unit we bought, i didn't know any better, and spent a small fortune on a 4Patriots unit that takes 7-9 HOURS to charge a solar unit via AC power! The SPEED of recharging is the game changer here! It is EVERYTHING in a grid-down. Especially if you have limited gasoline storage!

Your family of 4 just turned into feeding a family of EIGHT. 50% of your foodstocks just got written off. Speaking for myself only? These people have had the SAME access to information as i have, had the SAME opportunies to put SHTF mitigations in place as i have, seen the SAME social and economic conditions deteriorating that i have, AND DONE NOTHING!!! One neighbor just bought new ATV'S for the kids, another one just upgraded his boat, and yet another goes on 3 or 4 lavish vacations every year! And THESE are the people you're telling me i'm obligated to SEE TO?? I don't think so.... To those that read this, remember.... You have ONE JOB in all of this; TO PROTECT, DEFEND AND SEE TO YOUR FAMILY'S NEEDS, ABOVE ALL OTHERS! That is primary! YOUR family, NOT 6 other ones. Responsibilities can be shared for defense purposes and such, but for actual RESOURCES? Nope... Can't help em. Bartering? Ok if we need something we overlooked and they have it. I'm sorry if this sounds heartless and uncaring, but If everyone took care of business for their families the way they should have, there would be no need for this very conversation.

Also keep in mind that this is pretty much the second reset of the summer, So you're probably going to like the garden section at Walmart and you'll notice that a lot of the products are vastly reduced there's probably some empty shelves they're getting ready to put some different products on there's a lot of space filling going on in terms of they're going to pull bags of charcoal to start throwing them on empty shelves and they may even run a couple promotions your lawn furniture will be brought to the forefront of many displays basically it's the second promotion of those. And of course this sort of thing happens throughout the store and it's not just Walmart everywhere this is basically your mid to late summer reset. And of course there's the after 4th of July sales and a few of those displays are going to call for a reset and then as you move into mid-august you'll have another reset and that's going to be all about marking a lot of lawn furniture down and it's going to be basically the summer and sale. And then of course you're going to have another quickie reset and early September and that's going to be the final clearance of yard furniture any specials on lawn mowers or any other lawn based equipment you're going to have probably some automotive department sales going on they'll probably start talking about how maybe you should buy some new tires if it's Walmart try and get prepared for the winter season blah blah blah... I mean as I said I don't doubt that the shortages are going to be a thing and I don't doubt that it's going to get worse but I will say that I have also seen over time a lot of people mix up resets with actual bare shelves because they cannot get merchandise they want to confuse shortages with resets. And I can understand why because the retails industry moves pretty rapidly this day and age I mean there's already stores that have Halloween shit out and are they bringing out General fall stuff already granted that's not every retailer and that's kind of left up to some bitch store such as like hobby lobby or something like that or maybe even some of your big discounters like always they may have a little bit of Halloween creeping in or general fall items coming in. Yeah I mean basically you go pretty much from the Christmas season to Valentine's Day to Easter spring then you go from that to just spring then pretty much spring summer then summer which is basically sort of the realm of resets we're in now and then you have the mid to late summer which is pretty much kind of now and or the next couple of weeks and then you start winding down the summer season by starting to offer slight discounts on patio furniture and other assorted things especially summer based shoes and garments. And then you pretty much slide into the fall sales which of course taken Halloween but then you have Christmas right behind it I mean that's basically how it works so you're changing and you're overlapping all the time and I can definitely see that you know those that don't work retail or they don't actually conduct a lot of the resets yeah I can totally see that they wouldn't know what's going on it's not your fault it's just they don't know.

Russia is in the stupid war and it’s going to have lasting consequences if they nuke or don’t. I guess if the nuke we won’t have to worry about the dollar. Hang in there.

Buy Wheat Berries, they are pretty much a 'forever food'. You must store them properly, so no pests invade, using a vacuum sealer or mylar bag with an oxygen absorber.. Lots of YT vids on how to do this. You can store flour for up to 3 years if stored properly. Fill paper bags, 3 cups is a good amount for each bag. Roll them up and put them into a vacuum sealer bag or a mylar bag, add an oxygen absorber and seal. With Mylar bags you can use a vacuum sealer but you will have to put 2, cut, 3 inch strips from the corrugated side of a vacuum bag into each end so the mylar bag so the air can be sucked out, then seal. Watch this hack on YT videos.

And I will say that you know look I don't have the shortages are going to get worse I mean for the most part most things are currently there now granted you might have a situation where they ordered in three or four of the items and so by the time you get there they might be gone but that doesn't necessarily mean s that somehow assistant didn't order enough of them it could you have to understand that a lot of that is also based on how well an item has sold so if there is an item that technically expires and they go around and pull those off the shelf and then thus that only leaves two items but the system knows that they have to replace those items then yeah they're only going to get the two ends that they pulled off because they're out of date now if they were to sell say a total four items that they would get shipped in for items if it's a hot seller then management can put in a request for a few more but that doesn't always happen on the next truck sometimes that can literally take three trucks down the road before you even get the extra that you've been begging for and sometimes it may take months. There's a whole hierarchy of merchandise control for the most part it's kind of a set it forget it type of thing because as an item is sold then it's cataloged knowing that it needs to be replaced it does that through the register system it's just in time inventory but if you get an items that people are demanding and so you're under obligation to try and order more well you don't really have an actual order form that you fill out it you have to call a series of people that and you got a bitch in bag and then they've got to send it up the ladder to justify sending that particular location this many of that particular item and so they don't turn on a dime.

You are so wrong. Stuffing your freezer with expensive meats with a power grid that can go down anytime and loose everything is just plain stupid. Gas generators are another stupid investment. Just how much gas can you store for vehicles propane etc’ not to mention how dangerous. My solution is clean 10 year or more lithium batteries charging on portable solar panels’ with 2 ecoflow delta pro 3600 watt batteries and two 400 watt solar panels, I can power the whole house and then some. Your investment is about 2500$ per battery😮
