CORRECTION: In here I say that the Apple Vision Pro can only display 720p from your Mac. It's actually 4k display from AirPlay Screen sharing if you have a Mac with Apple silicon or 3k resolution if you have a Mac with an Intel processor.

its a 4k mirrored display. Not 2k

720p is for casting to phone. It will be 4K in AVP from Mac.

Exactly, 720 will be a deal breaker. Truthly you will really never transmit from AVP to another device. Maybe to show friends but that's about it.

Dang Bradley, I really want it to be. 🤞🏻 I wish I could take my laptop and show 4 screens from it alone. I think this is going to be one laptop screen and then a few iPad screens which is a subtle difference. Are you picking one of these up? I think mine comes next week.

I have zero interest in these kind of things to own, but I'll certainly watch your experiences with it!

I’m going to use it and look at the 20,000 photos that my family has taken over the last 25 years. That’s almost like reliving a lifetime of vacations and memories. Then there’s home theater movies and concerts. Anything else is just icing on the cake.

I think everything is very intentional. 2 hour battery life so you don’t leave the house, limited apps for quality, and high price to show off, hide bad sales and keep people out that aren’t hand picked.

I've owned all of the recent 1st Gen products Apple has released. This will the first one I don't buy. At least not right away. If it was cheaper I'd probably buy it. But what I'd use it for most is watching movies / tv. And for that right now it's not worth it. That's not to say I won't get it later. But for now it's a pass

Today, Apple seems to have let the major tech reviewers post their in-depth reviews. I watched as much as I could and I have to admit, I'm pretty excited about trying this thing out. I *think* my list of 10 issues here is still valid. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Thanks for checking out this video Tiago!

It's a bit like the 3D TV they were great but everyone got sick of wearing the glasses... Apple Vision will flop too.

For the last couple of years, i have been dreaming for goggles like this, that i can plug it in my laptop or mobile, and ride with rouvy and fulgaz....Of course it should be lightweight, ventilated and reasonably priced...

I would say the field of vision is a huge issue. They give the impression its truly immersive. From what I can tell, it is nowhere near what they are suggesting. Which leads to a very specific problem with this product overall... that it is sold on false promises... what normal people might call lies. There are standards of advertising still, which prevent false claims, and although apple is very careful with their claims, I think a lot of people are going to be very disappointed based on what they have been lead to believe 🤷‍♂️

First 'youtuber' who ever took the time to reply 😀 kudos for that :) I do have one quite lengthy hot take on the course of the vision pro, that I am willing to share with a KZreadr that is quite complex and analytical... and well, is quite dystopian. But I'm not going to do it as a comment. Would make my own video... but I'm really not it to that either. But it is definitely a take that would generate a lot of attention for someone with a huge follower base... and some bravery ;)

Great video, Matt! I pretty much agree with most of the concerns however I think you were too pessimistic. I am saying this having a Meta Quest 2 which is awesome. Yeah, awesome for about 2-3 hours a week for fun and entertainment. For 4-500 dollars or less. So, yeah, Apple's gotta integrate this really well into their ecosystem and let developers make apps, otherwise it is a super expensive toy. I also cannot understand that wired battery thing... it's 2024.... Of course understanding how heavy the thing already is, the battery has to be external. Shame, to be honest.
