The Escort ZX2 was a ripping good time. Light as a feather, the inline 4 banger had some zip to it, and easy to work on. My dad had two junkyard zetecs and there was exactly one good configuration between the two of them. I made sure to throw it in the one with the 5 speed, and when I turned 16 it was my little rat box kiddy rally car. Unfortunately I let it go before I got comfortable throwing it around the curves of the OMR roads.

I love the look of the Super Charger, this is what retro design can be people!

Mustang utes were actually made, and they were called Mustero. They were only made in 1966 in limited quantities (only 50 were made), and they were aftermarket conversions by a Ford dealer in Beverley Hills, Los Angeles.
