A Quad Roto with Quad Turbo's? If you are going to do it, then that is how you should do it. Though it comes nowhere close to the Le Mans Mazda 787b. Just search Le Mans 787b and prepare for bliss.

Note: The original Porsche 917 flat 12 is naturally aspirated. The clip you showed was a 917K (NA), but the later CanAm variants, the 917-10 and the 917-30, were turbocharged.

1600 hp from an air cooled engine in the 70s 🤯

Can-Am cars were amazing. Can you imagine racing 750hp cars on a friggin auto course, in the late 60's to early 70's?! Dan Gurney has been known to state that you pretty much held on and prayed not to die that day. For those who don't know that was the #21 car type around 4:00. To give an example of that type of hp you have to look at the McLaren F1. In street formula it produced 627hp and was de-tuned for racing duty! This was a car about 20 years after the Can-Am era ended. Some rumors have it that the engineers worked around the rule book of Can-Am and some cars, notably the Porches, were producing over 1000hp.

To avoid any confusion that may occur, the Porsche Flat 12 is not a Boxer Engine. This is because a boxer has one journal per piston. This Flat 12 does not have it as it has on journal per two pistons. The Flat 12 Boxer could work, but its length would be at least 30% more than a regular Flat 12.

So glad the 917 was on the list, I love that thing. I was looking at replicas, I thought that they were relatively cheap, until I wanted one with an identical suspension setup. Then, the price skyrocketed even higher to a total of around 650k for all of that, and a Flat-12, that couldn't be made to be entirely accurate. My blood is far to poor for that.

+Simeon Tsarev He missed way too many engines. Audi/Lambo 5.2 V10? Audi 4.2? VW VR6? Porsche flat-6 or 918 V8? Ferrari 430 Scuderia F136 engine? Aston's V12? LS engines? Ford's flat-plane in the GT350? Mercedes 6.2L V8? AMG V12 in the Zonda? Nissan RB26? Audi's 3.0 supercharged V6? Honda F-series (S2000)? Can't think of everything now.

Ty U. I guess you're right yeah. In that case, some really cool engines nobody knows about are: VisioRacer Nissan's TB48 (comes in the Patrol, heavily turbocharged in the middle east), Toyota's UZ V8 (there's a video of it in a hilux with ITBs, sounds insane), Subaru's flat-6 engines are hidden gems, not many videos of them, but Andy Forrest has a 1000hp Subaru with a flat-6, sounds sick.

first of all the first video in the bmw v10 s85 motor series wasn't a bmw s85 motor. next, why don't you have the k series motors or the 4g63, or the cosworth motor from the 190e? I like all kinds of motors as a real petrol head does, but you didn't include some of the main 4 cylinders in this to balance out all the v8, v10, v12. respect for including rotary motors though

No, the MK3 Supra's had the 1JZ motor, the 1993-1998 Toyota Supra MKIV's had the 2JZ motor.
