The Engineer brand is the same brand that makes Vampliers in Japan, and is usually found quite a bit cheaper. They make four sizes of screw removal pliers as well, for spots that the TwinGrips are too big to get into.

I’ve heard Engineer is the same, I don’t own any but I do have one of the Vamplier extractors in a smaller size than my Knipex.

I’d recommend checking out the vim spark plug socket set. 10 piece, all magnetic, normal extra long and a spring loaded wobble. I bought it and I love it. Would also recommend checking out the Mac 1/4 locking flex head ratchet. I bought the 1/4 3/8 and 1/2 but the 1/4 is honestly my daily driver. I don’t use 3/8 or half unless I have to due to torque or size limitations. And if you do o2 sensors on the regular I’d recommend snagging a 7/8 RBRT wrench from Mac. I think I paid $40 for mine but hot damn it’s saved my ass on seized or starting to round o2 sensors. Best purchase. Probably a few more I could find in my box tomorrow when I get to work

Oh, and if you do some electrical work- highly recommend Klein tools. The dark blue handle strippers and their red handle side cutters are a must. Did electrical for a while with my pops mainly in residential and they treated me very well. The side cutters also hold up much much better than what I’ve gotten off the trucks so far.

Damn I love Swivel Head Ratchets. Was installing a hitch receiver yesterday and there were so many protrusions, beams and obstacles down there that I just casually bent around with one. Didn't hinder me a single bit. They really are the best kind of ratchet overall. However, I never knew about the little flush-cutting ziptie clips, those things sound wonderful since aside from general ziptie things, I have Quail I occasionally use zipties to tag, and while they've never hurt themselves on the sharp point yet, they're stupid and I dont like giving them the chance. I think I'll have to get some. ALso those hose clamp pliers. My mechanic neighbor keeps telling me to get some but I keep putting it off. I know damn well if I keep doing that I'm going to regret it eventually.

I'd certainly be slower at finishing projects without my swivel heads and locking hose clamp pliers.

If you do not own a pair of flush cut cutters you have no business using zip ties at all
