Speaking of Red Dead, I just started playing RDR1 again today on Xenia Emulator on my gaming laptop. I still own my release month PS3 copy and the GOTY edition with Undead Nightmare on 360 but my PS3s and XB1S are all dead so I'm emulating it. It's been years since I've done a full playthrough of it. RDR1's world doesn't get enough love. It's not as pretty as 2's but it nails that lonesome gunslinger vibe of old Cowboy movies perfectly. It's a meditative experience riding through the areas of RDR1 while seeing the beautiful skies. Ut's also much more eerie feeling than RDR2.

Dragon Age Inquisition, love it on so many levels--storyline, characters, environment and voice acting-all masterfully done. Finding Skyhold for the first time literally took my breath away - wandering around in Skyrim is like being on vacation...with highwaymen and dragons. Subnautica is exciting and calming at the same time, how can that be? Love these games so much, they helped me through some really tough times. No game has come close to the mind boggling nature of oblivion to me when I first played it. The idea that I could walk from the mountains to the imperial city without any barriers, with a bunch of stuff to do along the way, was insane. I had never played an open world game before that, and it was also the first Xbox 360 game I had ever seen or owned. Absolutely mind blowing graphics, physics, world, customization, everything was so different and fresh. Suffice to say Bethesda studios open world games have been a favorite since but Oblivion and Fallout 3 were the most impressive and continue to be my favorites.

Just remember, if you play this game, that everything gets better with experience. At the start everything is hard. @@moonwatcher99 you dont get default abilities, you choose what you want to be good at from the start, and level skills by using them. there are lots of different weapon types, and lots of spells (you can make your own too) and if you decide to be a completionist, you can actually take the time and master everything

My first real open world experience was Morrowind. Also was my first Elder Scrolls game ever. I am a Tamriel native now :)

I got 4k hours in vermintide 2, i can confirm, its an addictive immersive game, 5 characters who hate each others have to cooperate, the roleplay is so perfect that when playing with randoms you don't call them by name you call them by race (elf, dwarf, wizard, etc), its better with friends but its also good with randoms, i acquired a bunch of friends playing that.
