No ranged weapons though I'd give ya a half hour you could obviously try throwing the axe but after that you're screwed and the weapons you do have in that kit are very close range and lastly to close off my rant you have storage but no way to store water

Yeah its great for post-apo LARP but you will throw it away after first use in real life scenario. Just buy proper forged small size hatchet that will last you life time.

Funny thing, you could change nearly all of these items to inexpensive household items equivalents Maybe not as fancy,concealable and you won't show yourself as fabulous rich kid survivor but they let you survive too if you know what are doing Axe might be biggest problem since normal axe will slow you down but that's what you need to cope with if you don't have money already

Definitely need a watch during the apocalypse.

I feel that the folding axe's best feature is that it can be carried legally in more situations than a regular big knife or axe. So in a situation where there is no more law enforcement, you are probably better served with a regular hatchet with no gimmicks.

I love the jacket.

My tools consist of a Mora Bushcraft black, and a Condor axe , and a pry bar I bought at Walmart. The more moving parts your tool has the more likely it’ll break.

Morning everyone. I hope all of you have a great weekend.

Waxxed canvas is great. You have to know how to re-treat the wax though. The neck knife is useless for utility because the scales are offset from the tang. This will create 'hotspots' on the hands after prolonged use, even for detail work. The small grip will also encourage hand fatigue and cramping. While the lighter may not be the most ergonomic it will last the longest provided its a gasoline lighter that will run on many fuels. The bag is gonna wear your neck and traps out with more than 10lbs in it if you walk more than 100 yards. Get a good padded 35 - 45L ruck with load lifter capability, padded shoulders and waist strap. The Becker Ka-Bar are truly awesome knives. I own the BK9. I would say invest in a 10 inch Khukri about 5mm thick. The curve and weight is by far a better chopper for wood and personal freedom reasons. That first aid kit . . . .bruh. Get an IFAK. Some stop bleed, a tourniquet, some 3 inch med tape, scissors and cotton bandages at the least. The Khukri will replace the hatchet and be far more useful, last longer and not make your enemies tell jokes about you around the camp fire. The watch is tops. 10/10 The flashlight . . . .get a headlamp with red light capability. The fact it flicked off your hat says everything you need to know. Hands free, rechargeable and greater concealment for you. UV light is only good for tracking hunted game you've made contact with previously and is leaking. Monocular? No, get a range finder and a Sunno compass and become proficient with both. The stuff you have? It isnt even good loot brother. Hope this helps.

Owning several olights and daily carrying an arkfeld Ti... I would be so pissed in an apocalypse trying to find a replacement charger and even having one, getting the finicky thing to start charging.

cool Idea for a video. but the only good tools in your kit is the Ka-bar and the flashlight. The first aid kit was legit. But the lighter is not practical and the neck knife is over priced, and doesn't have good grip. Cool gear, cool video.

EDC for people mentally unprepared for carnage and little outdoor experiences

I wouldn't recommend most of that list for any carry, especially in an apocalypse environment of any sort, at least not the choices you made for item categories. There are better, more affordable options than most of your choices. I'd maybe keep the jacket, the ka-bar, the watch and the monocular. That "triage" kit, is a joke and a person could build a better personal first aid kit for cheaper than that.
