I carry a bandana with me wherever I go and I use it multiple times every single day. I dont see bandanas getting much love in the edc community and when they do it’s some fancy “hank”

Its crazy how some “hanks” from companies targeting the EDC world are selling them for $200-300… rather just go but a pack of plain ol bandanas for $5 at walmart

@@Randosquidz Idk. I live in the Midwest, so I don’t have to worry about running colors, and the Hanky code hasn’t been popular since the 80’s. Lol. That being said, the majority of my good bandanas are white, black, or grey.

@@YAFFE- lol I got a red bandana for welding. i think their cool and practical (epsecially saves your skin from sun cancer, or welding light too). shame the gang bangers are associated with them. yeah but I figure it will let you keep hair in old age rather then cooking it out

I carry a zippo lighter with a butane torch, and a Sig P365. I've never used either of them.

Knife, small light, Keychain magnifying glass, Sig p365, spair mag.

The only thing I wouldn't carry is the sharpener to touch up a knife when any ceramic coffee mug bottom will work in a pinch.

Not really. You’re not gonna get a knife as sharp with a mug as you would with one of these, no matter how skilled you are.

The item I use the most is the Leatherman skeletool with the bit set. I have used it as a screwdriver a pry bar a hammer pliers and knife. It’s been the most useful EDC item I have for 3 years now.

Safety pins!! Always have some poked thru somethin. Wallet, keychain, they’ve come in handy way more than I thought.

For me it's a carabiner, bandana, pocket tool and a jet lighter. I am used to zippos but frankly it's nice to have an alternative that fits the day.

I carry a really nice set of nail clippers. I NEVER see nail clippers in ANY EDC videos and that's really surprising to me.

For me it has to be my Olight Batton 3, its honestly the best thing for so many reasons and I use it way more than I ever thought I would and I love it.

Dedicated tweezers....live in the desert, lot of stuff wants to poke you. My kids are like magnets to stickers.

I use my pen dozens of times a week. It's so much easier having one in your pocket and at the ready. It's also really nice having a flashlight when you need it. I don't use a flashlight every day but it's nice not having to search for one when you need it.

The Victorinox mini champ. I use it every day. It is my supplement carry, but I use it all the time.

My 3 EDc items I carry everyday are pen, knife and flashlight. I carry other stuff but can carry day to day.

Well a thin piece of solder and a steel pin saved my ass when the spring holding my car fob battery broke and I re attached it a matter of minutes. So I added a super tiny container of crushed flux to help if I need to do some wiring on my gear next time. Also lockpicks as it helped me with keys to breaker box that wore locked in a drawer.

The lever gear cord is a solid little cord, the only issue I have with it is that I've tried attaching it to a keychain and it fell out more often than I'd like but now I just keep it in a pouch with some other stuff

A Leatherman Squirt (with the pliers) that I had to buy off of ebay. Keychain flashlights. And a charger very similar to the one you show here. A pack of empty refillable lip gloss containers from Amazon that work great for EDC sun screen/lotion/aloe etc. A WD40 pen (like a Tide pen) with duct tape wrapped around it. A hair tie on my Keychain. High fidelity earplugs.

I bought my gerber prybrid to have something small to open boxes at work but I use it for all kinds of things now and it’s always on me.

My Leatherman sidekick and my Ifak are probably the two things I use most. Though my mini pry tool comes in handy far more often than I thought it would.

Those flat batteries are cool and all.. but their capacities are so low it's almost more worth it to just use your phone less. My battery usage app tells me the largest consumer is my facebook app, whatsapp, and youtube. So I just don't go on my phone as often now, and it really has made a difference. Edit: my car bag always has my noco booster in it which can still boost my car even after two full phone charging sessions, so in an urban pickle that's what I use.

I use a crossbody bag, I carry a razor blade knife, a small battery pack, a small multi tool, nail clippers set.

A multitool with scissors. Holy crap.

The Micro sharpener from worksharp...screwdriver + sharpener.

My CC4 Fällkniven sharpening stone. The double sided stone comes with a leather sheath, which you can also use for stropping. Since I have it near me most of the time, my knives were never all so sharp at once. I even find myself a tad sad, when I don't have a knife to hone. lol

I use my flashlight constantly. Also nail clippers/file, and tweezers.

check out the titanium or aluminum duct tape keychain spool thing (or make one). I think its a awesome idea. just a tiny dumbell you hang on a keychain and wrap with tape, I forgot the brand. Probobly too much for keychain but its good for like a tool chain in the car since its all together and you won't be dropping shit between the seats

I Carry the DMT course and fine folding sharpener. A Spyderco ladybug zdp189. A stream light pocket flashlight. I use the flashlight the most.

Victorinox Jetsetter and Swiss Card Classic have been quite useful for me.

And a solar powered charger that has three different charging ports the size of a small brick.

I highly suggest you use an old credit card or debit card of those sorts and you can fit duct tape and electrical tape around it. Also, it just sits in your pocket nicely and you really don't notice it until you need to reach into your pocket to get it.

I use my Streamlight way more than my knife-- was once in a coffee shop bathroom when the only bulb went out during my business... My flashlight saved the day. Another time was, on a bright sunny day, by black phone tried to hide under the seat of a rental car with black interior - and again, my edc light came to the rescue. Won't leave home without at least one light on me

I keep in a zippo in my electronics lab because it will let you see what a chassis is doing for equipment that has fans in it. Is it sucking in fire through a open corner? did the extra vent holes for a fan mod work? If you try to use a gas flame it won't show you good and smoke is usually too disruptive, but a zippo is good for tracing airflow, it won't blow out too easily. Since they make equipment with tiny fans in it, its often hard to tell if its working or not (say its only a 30mm micro fan) with the chassis. For heat shrink the best tool is a propane pen torch with the adapter for hot air (catalyst). You can do teflon heat shrink with it, but its too big for EDC. I also used the swiss army knife for my first job at engineering where they would not buy me tools and the factory crew were nasty, I made a 5000$ parts prototype using only the swiss army knife for wiring LOL, but it did mess up the pliers (if you use pliers as wire cutters they mess up). Then I got tools, but they started to get stolen. Its fine for engineering, but not for production or anything where a nicked wire will get you in trouble. I got some comments but fuck them, it worked and got the job done and I did not have to haggle with factory staff for fucking wire strippers

also that SAK is good because its like pliers that are hard to drop if you are doing some surgury on shitty equipment where you can't get normal tools into (one handed crazy bullshit)

All is cool except the duct tape. Don’t waste money on that little roll that cost just as much as a big roll and you can make your own pocket size roll. I really like that battery pack tho
