Fun Fact: Before his career in the UFC and other fighting promotions Tito Ortiz was a professional linguist, a well read scholar, as well as a professional storyteller. Being in a new home, no friends, and a new schools was hard on his mental health. He enrolled into MMA training over a year ago, for 4 days a week and it has changed HIS life. I truly believe everyone could benefit from a combat sport. Not only does it help with your fitness but it also helps your mind. I was in and out of juvie as a teen and was probably destined for jail or death. Ended up watching a ufc fight for the first time with one of my friends and it was the masvidal askren fight. I thought masvidal was a total badass so I decided to go to my local mma gym and ended up falling in love with the sport. It kept me busy and out of trouble while it also helped with my depression and anger issues. Now I’m in college with a 3.7 gpa and healthier then ever and a functional human being TLDR: was a shithead as a teen but mma gave me something to stay busy and help me

in the old times everyone wanted to be decent and respectable even the bums everyone tried to dress nicely, while in reality they were majority bums and they were as tough as they come real killers, today almost everyone is decent and respectable in lifestyle but they all want to be bums. it really is a time not prone to fighters.

This question is sooooo far and away from the subject of this video…but the video did contain at least one example that I noticed. Anyway, I’m wondering how much longer the UFC rules of the octagon will allow for post-KO strikes to the head??? This seems like such an incredibly brutal, yet typically unnecessary practice from the early days of the sport…but it’s still allowed somehow. It’s one thing for a fighter to swarm on another injured fighter, but damn, some of these dudes be completely and thoroughly visiting the shadow realm and still getting pummeled in the head, face and neck.
