I have a theory maybe it's real or not but idk: The reason Shu didn't appear in the gt series is because at that time he was training Lane somewhere at other countries, it also explains free not showing up cuz he was currently defeated or broken by Lane. We all know first uranus and Lane who has the first superking beyblade at the series. So Valt somehow managed to know the problem and got inspired by drum and gwyn battle and created brave valkyrie cuz valt wanna prove lane that beyblade is fun cuz Lane is taking beyblade way too seriously. The valt inspired by the gt final battle is actually from manga. This multiple point could tell what would happen to Shu during the gt series and that's why he didn't show up
