@@notanigga829 it was quite obvious like Longinus always had sharp looking attack points (except nightmare) that assimilate a spear (and if you look at the avatar's tail it has a blade that looks like a spear) and also if it was Longinus (the guy) i think they've would use more of a humanoid avatar rather than a dragon avatar. (Also Takara Tomy said that it was the spear not the dude).

@@shiyunkari9044 if you look closely on nightmare design, it still has that pointy, sharp spear like when the bey unlock. But at a normal state, the dragon heads hide these 2 contact points. ​Tbh, since it's place so high up and inward, it doesn't do much in battle so people forget it's even there. Still cool to see the consistency in desgin choices tho.

Lui also beat Iliya in DB don’t forget. Overall great video as always(:

Bonus facts: Lui cracked Valt's dual layer bey in the finals in the manga also valt needed a lot of practice to get his launch and lui copied it from first try in manga and why are you counting the wr's from tag battles only individual matter and even 1vs3 counts as 3 wins also he still has 5:0 and 7:2 wins and bonus fact none of you knows: in a qna Hiro Morita says that Phi never battled Lui because he didnt have weaknesses unlike Shu and Free and couldnt manipulate him and he was nothing like them so he was actually scared he might lose [ only japanese can confirm and the qna cant be found ]

Interesting, Lui might save the day but he chose to disappear for the entire season. Well but can he really beat Phi's full psychopath mode? Or this fact only apply in the early of Cho-Z. Aiga did struggle really hard and could have lost so many times against Phi in the final battle.

@@SpedRockt not sure about the period but the shu and Free comparing seems like it is for the late and yes Aiga could have lost way more times Phi was just toying with him and by Lui dissapearing his strength was unknown in the beginning even a month of the choz generation didn't passed even if he didn't have new moves just by the time passing practicing they would be way way stronger noone actually could survive Dragon Scream ( Valt and Aiga just barely dodged it )

I don't really think lui was harsh on any character more than shu. He scarred his face. He humiliated and insulted him . I don't even know why he hates shu even though the poor boy did nothing to him. I still like him though I like how sassy he is.

It's not really hate, it's just that he is very aggressive and intense early on(a bit of sadistic side too...) the scar and breaking spriggan accident(lui just didn't care, second one wasn't even his fault technically...), the insults are not unique to shu and the humiliation is of being defeated and HOW he got defeated(such as hiding his identity and being exposed). Long story short, they had a rivalry that just got a little too intense but eventually mellowed out,might've had something to do with shu breaking longinus(on purpose)...

I agree lui literally insults everybody he doesn't like but especially with shu it was like really intense and he insulted him more than he did with any other character I don't know if I am the only one that thought that I also clearly wasn't talking about when lui humiliated shu when he was red eye or about this whole battle between them when shu was wearing the mask I was talking about the battles before that Their realionship was rocky long before shu became red eye Also shu didn't break lui 's bey until AFTER all of these events of lui defeating shu so I don't think the hate or lui 's altitude towards shu is because of that.

@@rawdasalmataman7908 The second one, I mean the lui breaking spriggan, he didn't break it on purpose, it was a consequence of shu and wakiyas battle and shu, which cracked it and shu not repairing it(too be fair we didn't know that was a thing by this point in the anime), and yes he did have a very rocky relationship, in terms of humiliation its basically just lui beating shu I'm very lopsided way(which he did to everyone basically but shu took it really personally) and giving him the scar, basically shu wanted to avenge his defeat and lui just wasn't gonna let him take the W(like I said, a REALLY intense rivalry). Finally, shu(while possessed by spriggan) broke longinus on purpose, unlike lui to spriggan...and lui didn't even resent shu at all for the breakage(we didn't see them interact until sparking UIM). I totally get your point, but again, it's just a really, REALLY intense rivalry. They did have enough respect to banter(before red eye) and stuff, but Shu was really determined to beat lui, and lui wasn't going down easy...

Actually Lui's hair are not flames, this is what Hiro Morita said in a Q&A: Louis' hair looks like flames, but that is only the case when he is a child. When you are a child, you have the power to become anything you want without reason, to believe you can do anything. I designed Louie as a character full of this "all powerfulness. That's why when you believe in yourself, the flame in your hair grows bigger. I used a translator anyways
