Best thing about the old Grass/Stem pieces is that you can stick them together in the small, narrow hole in the bottom. That sounds lewd... but it makes for some good bushes/shrubs and with the new flat leave pieces they can look even better. Have to try that combo out at some point.
@96Assassine
Жыл бұрын
@Omid yea the old ones that go directly on studs have a small hole that, coincidentally, fits the tip of the stems. So you pretty much branch out from three stems to nine.

One I wish you had mentioned was the joint parts, the smaller ones. They're commonly used for truck hitches, but I use them to make large lanky robots.

Francis K here are my 3 rules for beginners: 1. Take elements from existing mocs but don’t blatantly copy them 2. Start with basic shapes, add small details later 3. THE MOST IMPORTANT RULE don’t go too big. A 16x16 plate as basis is enough for a nice moc, look at this nice build at 7:43. It’s really small, but works extremely well.

For mecha and humanoid stuff using mixel joints the old 1x1 round with ball peice is so perfect. If only lego would bring them back.

Ha ha, you too call them "brick bricks."
Just starting out and appreciate your tips. How to make different angles, like the roof you showed, is a tip I needed for a MOC that I have in mind. I'll keep watching.
For number 4 I use these these parts from laser pegs for the water to make lakes. Laser pegs is kind of like lego but only transparent so you could also use that also.
Thanks for the tips , great video 👍
Do you keep all of your Mocs or do you take them apart. Thanks for tips on the pieces!
Great work 👍👍👍
Thx bro needed this
Thanks man. Keep it up!
Great vid bro. I agree with most of these
When you only build Technic MOCs and basically never needed any of these exept for the jumper plates and Brick modifieds lul
Thanks for the Video i love the top 10
Great vid! Good tips
If you ever try making roofs or large ships or crazy terrains I recommend using lego technic, I also recommend using technic if your builds are going to be extremely big
