I really appreciate this video. My 21 year old son is a high functioning autistic. Sometimes, he learns better from these types of videos. Unfortunately, his dad was never in his life. The men that do mean a lot to him (for example my father and my pastor) don't live with us. So, there are a remnant of topics that are not always discussed in depth. You my brother have skyrocketed the stock of many single cats who are either trying to figure it or had no possible clue. 💯

artwork or paintings is a must, but nice house plants are good to have as well. how about a well stocked liquor cabinet with red and white sweet, red and white tart wines. i keep those along with a good whiskey and vodka, and some women dont smoke, and some do so i keep a stash of a variety of herb just in case. i had a girlfriend who used my toothbrush one morning, and i wasnt cool with that at all, so i started to keep new packs of toothbrushes stocked. Dont forget about music D

Maybe no one's mentioned this before, I appreciate your sly sense of humor, OG. I was a clothes horse in the 70's (when high fashion was still affordable), now it's more about making the pad unique and visually appealing. With Covid still raging, there's more time at home. I shop at 4 different collectible stores for unusual vintage pieces from the past. Cheaper than going to an auction.

I recently just moved into my very first spot. Literally just stumbled on your channel. Thank you for dropping gems.

I'm a guy who drinks wine and I never knew how common it is for men to not have wine glasses until I started hanging out with my male friends and their pads! There were several times when I had to remember to bring my own wine glasses. But, you totally forgot about the cork screw! Nothing is more upsetting than having wine, the glasses and no way to open the bottle. A cheap one will work as long as it's functional.

Make sure you have a good pair of shoes to kick their ass out with when they get too comfortable!

Don't think I heard this mentioned or if anyone mentioned it in the comments but good cookware and cooking utensils. Even if you don't really use them, in case you have a woman that likes to cook and wants to cook you dinner or even breakfast. My girlfriend was impressed by the nice cookware and good cooking utensils. I don't really cook like that but she's a good cook so I'm glad had most of what was needed...didn't have a garlic press before but I have one now.

Yes, Cooking Utensils are also very nice. When she is there and you are Cooking Breakfast and the Bowls, Whisks, and Pans look nice she will be so impressed. Also if you can, when she visits, use Cloth Napkins, not Paper ones, you'll make her feel so special. Also when you cook Bacon, take a Paper Plate, and Paper Towels and put the Bacon on them, that way the extra fat can be taken off. Also if you can, Clean while you cook.

Those are solid essentials bro. I never thought about matching bathroom linen with the bedroom linen that's a good one

It's pretty pricey but a fish tank is a nice piece of art if you have a hard time finding art. Plus you can always change the decorations and add fish to it

Best place to get art cheap is Thrift Stores. You never know when you’ll find a piece that speaks to you. Also, if you’re crafty you can make some wall decor with a sheet of MDF and some wood pieces cut on an angle and painted. Gives her the idea that you’re deep and intelligent, as well as gives her art that is textured so not only her sense of sight but her sense of touch is triggered. Just make sure you sand and seal everything; you don’t want your art to give her slivers.

Yes he is correct about everything 1- dishes, bowls, mugs & wine glasses, shower curtain clear or white or off white Dollar Tree (not the silverware) 2- curtains; pictures; mirrors, lamps, - Goodwill store (go to up scale areas) 3- sheets - Walmart (T-Shirt Cotton feel) it says on package “T-shirt Cotton feel” ( only those from Walmart) 4- always toilet tissue, paper towels, puffs noise tissue

Hey bro you touched on ever point. I really pay attention to the cleanliness of the bathroom and kitchen. Having a stock bathroom with the basic essentials are very important. As well as a variety of snacks and beverages to catered to a variety of people's preferences. Not everyone drinks alcohol nor do they drink koolaide.. great job bro.. i agree with all mentioned.. men pay attention. Detail can be the breaking point on how your night will END 😁

Absolutely. The Bathroom & Kitchen are the two parts of my House that I am somewhat fanatical about. I make it a very strict rule that no Dirty Dishes after 7:00 PM. Also The Bathroom is also a place you hang out. Make sure that the Toilet is Clean and Sterile. No "Rings" and make sure the outside has no "Stains". Make sure you have Air Freshener or even use Incense. Also make sure you have "Extras" just in Case especially if she spend the Night there. Extra Toothbrush, An Extra Large T Shirt for her to sleep in. Make sure that The Rug is Vaccumed and Floor is Mopped. Before changing your Bedsheets put some Baby Powder on the Mattress and then Vaccum, then spray some febreeze. If you can, Iron The Bedsheets.
