One thing that is a pet peeve with me but is normalised nowadays - sitting at a table with someone for dinner but spending most of the time on your phone. My sister did that to me once and when I got tired of it I called her out. She was most upset and stalked off - but I felt like she was being rude to me because she could barely hold a conversation, she was on the phone so much. In my opinion if you are out with people you should be present in the moment, at least for the most part. Everyone checks their socials and takes pics, but people nowadays take it to the extreme of bad manners.

I attended a wedding rehearsal dinner, the time say 6pm tell me why the married couple showed up at 8:45pm, I told my mom if you were not with me I would have gotten into an Uber and left. Fumi I could have been at another dinner hanging with friends I have not seen in a long time. I was soooo made. EDIT: oh by the way the couple did not even apologize for their lateness.

The other thing is not saying excuse me while passing others. Thank you for keeping it real helping us ladies on our toes and polished! (No pun intended) You are the best!!!

Aunty Fumi, we learned a lot of these from home; but sometimes, companies from Varsity, or work, kinda influence people to change. For me, my dating my husband INSTILLED punctuality in me. Oh yes! He left me one day when I was late, and I was horrified. My told me, that I deserved it. Then, she'd relieve me from my house chores to make it early to my dates. My father's family is loud, and I'm STILL working on my voice. I'm very conscious of it, so it's a work in progress. What I ABSOLUTELY ABHOR is foul language, expletives: they just don't make sense, and most are demeaning to women. Thank you SO MUCH FOR reiterating these values again. 🙏🙏

I am 58 and I have always eaten before going out especially to weddings and parties mostly because I often do not like to food offered. I am very hot on basic manners, it's really not difficult. I will only wait max' 15 minutes after that I leave! My time is precious. Do not take my consideration and kindness to make a fool out of me. Raise your voice at me and you'll see the back of my head because it's my cue to leave! When you started banging your head, I lost - laugh out loud! Thank you Miss Fumi, fabulous!

Great tips! God bless you. When I first saw a female bang her hair because it was itching , I thought she was freaking insane. She just happen to be the cashier at a grocery store. Good hygiene and manners is important for both men and women and knowing that some habits is best left at home with the person and the savior. Pushing your chair in is so important . It drives me crazy to walk in any establishment and see the chair's scattered. We all are a work in progress, none of us are perfect. Thanks for these wonderful videos.
