Kim, you are a gem! Thank you so much for this information. You have truly been a Blessing to me by introducing me to so many useful tools. While writing has always been a passion of mine, I have only now, in my later 50's, began to put pen to paper and focus on it. Believe it or not, I actually created an activity book last year! Because I am such a novice at all the tools available to create this type of content, I created my book using Word! Yes, I did! I've got word searches, crossword puzzles, word scramblers, and more, and let me tell you, it looks so good! So, my focus now is to work on getting my book ready for publishing through KDP! Wow Kim, I’m so lucky I landed on your video. Super informative Information you shared. Ive used most of the HELPS you mentioned. I’m addicted to Canva and love creating content. I’ve designed, printed & assembled my own planners,Journals,Coloring/activity & etc books. Ive also printed through KDP for my own use. I’m wanting to start actually selling through on KDP. I started out with a cute Easter coloring/activity book for sale on KDP and it did decent considering I didn’t get it up and for sale less than 2 weeks before Easter. Anyway. Thanks for the info. I’ve heard and looked at “the Instant Maze Generator” a while ago but then I lost the name of it. I wasn’t ready back then to use it but I am now!! I’m anxious to listen to all your utubes. I see the Instant Maze Generator has a few options. Which are best to get Pro, Premium, Elite or combination of?

Wow! This is by far one of the most valuable videos EVER. QUESTION: I have Canva Pro and typed in Word Search like you said. I see the Templates that came up, but how do I create a Word Search? So I clicked on Animal Word Search and it came up with one page. How do I make a book of them, say 50 pages? (What's the recommended amount of pages?) Thanks in advance and keep up the great work!

Helloooo there! So for the word search in Canva, I would suggest perhaps using a word search generator from a tool like Bookbolt, or one of your choosing and then copy the puzzles over into a worksheet in Canva and customize it to your liking. As far as a page count goes, I would suggest looking at your competitors to see how many pages their activity books have to get a feel for that. Hope this helps :-) P.S. I may do a tutorial soon on how to create a Word Search puzzle book in Canva...but all you really need to do is come up with a list of 20-30 word search topics and add them to pages in Canva. I always add an extra pages between all of my books too so that the pages come out one-sided after the books are printed and shipped out. Hope this helps.

Hello there! Sooo If youre doing low content books, you will need to add A+ content to shoe the interior of your books. If you are doing Activity Books then you should still have access the look inside feature. I have a video tutorial that shows you how to do A+ content that you should check out. Good luck!

How do I cite the images from Canva?

Hi, thanks for this! It’s an eye opener! I want to ask a question which is a little dumb. So what app do you finally use to compile these various pages (mazes, puzzles etc?) Do you upload each page on Amazon after it’s done? Or you save them somewhere like google docs or Canva, and then proceed to publish when the book is completed?

Hey there! So when a customer orders your book they will get a Printed copy of the complete book. Amazon does all of the work to ship it to them.

It costs a little bit more to print in color depending on the type of color option that you choose. Hope this makes sense.
