The 1st base location is what I still use in my 300 day medium mode worlds lol it’s very cozy and I personally love living in the middle of grass forests

OK, so nobody else builds a massive 40-50 story tower on the lily pad just beside the backdoor entrance to the muscle sprout room, then builds a lodge on top of the tower? It's only, like, 3600 mushroom bricks and 1600 weed stems to take painstakingly into the center of the pond as you wait weeks for the resources to regrow. 20-30ish hours tops.

LATE GAME (Upper Yard) - Just finished a new base build on top of the leaning baseball bat at Wendell's Chair. 2 story base with zip lines on each side. YES, lots of spider web is needed. Our zip lines are very long. 2 ways to get inside the base. #1 Climb up the baseball bat. #2 we build a zipline tower on the steps. we gets raids but the bugs spawn at the white cup on the porch. We just jump down and knock them off rather quickly. Just tested - we defended a mosquito raid. We added a new walk around porch with turrets on each corner to the base. If you set up a base near the oak tree, make sure you place palisades in all of the entrances to the wolf spider den underneath it. That will stop them from being able to leave, which is even better once you plug the haze because the IWS will also be blocked inside.

You can just use stem windows instead for less than 25% the weed stem cost. Large enemies get confused by them in their pathing because they are technically passable spaces by ducking and walking through them, but the wolfies are too big so they get their legs stuck inside and just stop moving.

I started building an endgame base where he pointed out at 5:10. However, I built mine on the upper-upper yard rock wall with stairs going down to where he was at and down to the lower yard pond. You have access to upper yard, field station, and building Ziplines to get around lower yard is super easy. It is a good idea to have a small secondary base at oak tree for sap and easy access to that small part of yard you can't Ziplines to. Overall I am liking it. Building materials are plentiful as there are mushrooms, grass, and tons of weeds to get stems from. The rock up top is fairly flat. I just did a lattice of stem scaffolding to put my flooring on. There is a single ladybird that passes by, but otherwise, for an upper yard base it's pretty nice. You have quick access to the undershed, porch, termite hill, and if you build some tiny offshoot towers on the rock wall you have extremely quick access to whole upper yard.

Black ox beetles respawn in that little cave by the castle but you can build on the rocking too above the black widow and that cave. Raids only come from one direction and it’s only flying that get to you. Great spot

I really like building on or around the lamp right next to the oak tree, because you're pretty much safe from Ground raids and you got a lot of Gnat meat. Only thing annoying is the Infected Wolf Spider. Also you telling us not to build in the upper yard really hurt me. I think I'm the only one that likes the Grounded leaf parcours.

Been playing for just a couple weeks now. The 2nd base on the log with the leaf ramp and the station right below it is my favorite base so far. The station right below it is very convenient. The only down side is that there are no nearby thistles and it is heavily patrolled by orb weavers.

The second base can have an issue with bombardier beetles glitching into the rocks and bombarding your floor when you're walking around the base.

The first location is the best😅 never moved from first location ever. Triple story castles and a zip tower.

Toolbox base>>>> I’ve had many worlds and almost every single one i’ve had my base ontop of the toolbox. Yeah everything wants to kill me but thats what’s fun about it. Get to kill a couple enemies when leaving or coming back to your base 😂

I put my base on the top of the wasp queen. Then I started to set up some things and needed red ant parts, I had a couple heads and a mantible, but when I tried to use my waft emitter they just gave up 😭😭

you can build inside the milk molar bottle in the upper yard too, safe and cozy

the best spot is inside the milk molar jar in the upper yard,u cant get raided at all,ants cant rob u at all & you got berries growing right next door

There is a much better can that has dirt in it so you can build your floor off that dirt then build off that floor.

I pretty much completely ripped off your friend Paraly5er’s pagoda base and it’s done wonders for me. You can build your way to the top quite easily, but those mosquito raids f***ing HURT! 😖

I built my base underneath the upper yard stones it’s a hanging base on the bricks

When I get grounded I’m going to make bases in place’s people never dared to do

I cant seem to find a video describing how to support an oak tree base properly, I even tried to mimic your foundations coming off the mushroom but it doesn't seem to connect to the ramps/roofs

its really difficult to have a fully supported base. Having more than 2 connection points would be the best option just in case bugs break a staircase

What i mean is, my initial ramp going up like yours from the ground root, has all the structures tied to it, I tried making foundations/ anchor points from the mushroom but couldn''t get it to take the load off the bottom ramp @@CDiinky

How could I properly support my oak base up in the tree?

I live on the oak tree late game, because I set up zip lines. I can cross the map in like 2 minutes.
