For everyone in the 2020 Code Book, the commercial store answer would be 15,600 VA's. Use Retail for type of occupancy. Table 220.12 - Note H - "Stores are considered retail occupancies."

#8 I'm in NEC 2020 and I see that 220.12 lists Hospitals at 1.6 VA/ft (versus 2 VA/ft in 2016) and I don't see Hospitals listed in 220.42. Does that mean that there would no longer be a demand calculation step if this question was done in the current code book?

You are correct there going to be some change in inputs in The 2020 but I am going over all of the content right now in about 97% of it is the same as a 17 as far as testing goes! We will be continuing to drop 20/20 content on our Channel relentlessly while simultaneously drop in 17 and we are updating our testing center to be 2020 compatible as we speak

Hi, Coach, 12:15, why the water heater is 0? but it states the water heater is 3500W in the question.

Great question! if it was a neutral question then the water heater would be 0 because it is a straight 240 app

I was using column C in range calculations as a demand factor. My brain was hurting😂. Thanks for clearing that up.
