They added an active so you don't have to drop it near cliffs to get vision on the wards, but the old vision around the gem wasn't removed.

Why would you want to rush to place a ward? The sooner you place it the sooner it expires at the end of its cycle. Youre literally rushing to make your ward go away faster. Especially such an easy one mid. Mid should relaxingly place their ward when about level 3 or so when you actually start to need uphill vision and based on how its going with the matchup. Makes no sense to me.

faster you put your ward down the less likely enemy saw you placing that ward. supports used to TP straight away to place wards until TP got changed

it's less about the expiration time of the ward than getting information on your enemies' movement, items, wards, position etc via vision provided by the early ward. Same concept can be applied by immediately activating sod at the start of the game to boost MS (especially on supports that just loves to get boots or windlace first item) and rush to enemies jungle rune then plant an observer ward (in an inconspicuous spot) before they could get in there. This almost always gives you an assured first blood while also securing 2 bounty runes. Safelaners typically go in that outpost rune spot alone while the pos 5 goes to help contest the river runes.

@@condyrinc8691 no thanks, first blood is not worth risking losing HP and potentially losing the lane over it. I’d rather just go straight to my lane and focus on that being perfect. First blood is a waste of time and energy that doesn’t really make a difference. But, A good mid lane player can snowball from just getting advantage on the first couple creep waves. Priorities lol. Also why would I want to see enemy items that early? I can see them just as well a few seconds later when we meet in the lanes.

i think you will understand this more later. Its just early vision without being spotted. if u make advantage from this this will help u deward enemy ward. or making fb or some kills that afterwards will makes way better next 2 3 minutes on a lane. ofc this will not a change result of a game. But this is the small little details in a game. Dota is always mind battle between ur enemy.
