Lot's of games have unskippable credits. Not a mistake, they want you to see the names of all the people who put hours into making the game. Of course no one actually WANTS to wait through all the credits, and NO ONE actually READS all the names, but they do it regardless.

I just pointed out that it's very easy to tell apart German/French/English, even if you don't speak them, since they typically use accents in places the others don't. But I doubt nearly any native english speakers could tell the difference between arabic and urdu.

@@Winasaurus Maybe such assumptions are best kept to yourself. Arabic and Urdu differ far more than using different accents and the occasional extra letter. It's easy to tell the two apart.

One of my favorites was in Destiny 1. The map designers forgot to put a floor in a specific area on the moon, so you could glide over and walk right off the map. They didn't fix it for Destiny 2 either, which is hilarious.

GEONE i think that was just the design of one of the bullets as it is self propelled with rockets or something around it to modify trajectory. i understand some calibers casings wouldn’t fit through the barrel but maybe it was a design choice? Or a modified barrel? Or it does have a casing but the bullet goes all the way in?

They actually mock it in mgs2. One of the guards on the lower levels of the tanker mission says "i feel asleep" repeatedly as he doses on and off.

Zach Thomas I dropped a typewriter and it hovered in the air. I then dropped a baseball and it fell to the ground. So then I put said typewriter back into my inventory and dropped it again. It hovered yet again. Apparently it was a special typewriter.

The worst part is it's a quest item that you need. I had to spawn the functional version of the item in

In one of the Borderlands games, there's a building with a large conveyor belt on it, and a door at one end that opens and closes. It's by far the most noticeable object in the scene... and it has the checkerboard Unreal Engine default texture because they forgot to apply one.

At least the Unreal Engine 4 editor is much less buggy, and doesn't take forever to 'Build All', like UE 3 did. Especially since I modded UT3 to have the Invasion gametype, I had to add hundreds of path node navigation points to the maps for the monsters to spawn on, and it would either take 10 minutes or crash my machine. The new engine is much more efficient on resources than the last one.

The fake eye kinda just falls out. Leon doesn't rip it straight out. The shot you used when you said the eye is still there is right before they die and the eye slides out. That's why Leon picks it up. Other than seeing the door with the eye scanner before the boss fight being a giant clue for Leon to pick it up

There's actually an interesting explanation for number 7. In Pocket Monsters Blue, the updated version of Red and Green, the trade on Cinnabar Island doesn't require a Raichu, but a Kadabra. The man comments in Blue's Japanese script about how the Kadabra you traded him evolved after the trade, which tells the player that Kadabra evolves through trading. In the international Red and Blue, you trade the man a Raichu instead of a Kadabra because the game's encounter data and in-game trade data was taken from Pocket Monsters Red and Green, where you also trade the man a Raichu, but his line wasn't adjusted to account for Raichu having no evolution, hence the error.

0:46. It's actually kinda surprising that they use the same characters. Bruh we use the same characters as Finnish people but the words are not the same.

I think it's funny that in Half life you wear a hazard suit that protects you from a lot of radiation. But when you step in hazardous water you start dying.

It's a hazard suit...Would a Hazmat suit protect you if you dove into radiated acid? Probably not. I don't see why it can't be the same for the HEV Suit.

You basically answered your own problem - It protects against A LOT - NOT ALL. Basically, it lowers the amount of radiation you receive, but it can't stop ALL of it. With it, you start losing health in hazardous water - without it, you'd probably die instantly, or start getting sick before you even got close to it. The suit is a partial protection only, not a complete one.

Something pretty ironic, and funny, was as I clicked on this video, a KZread ad came up. And the Ad was: 'WeMod - The Easiest way to cheat in Pc games'. I think it's just an ad for something similar to the old school cheat code books we'd buy in gamestop or walmart, but the thought of watching a gamranx video, where often times they describe what happened to cheaters with hilarious relish, and seeing this ad, was too ironic not to mention. Reminds me of Subnautica. The sun rises and sets, but the partnered planet (or REALLY close moon maybe) just rotates Around the horizon (and quite quickly I would add.) I kept staring at it thinking "what direction am I looking?" (in the dark) then remembering, "oh wait, I can't use that Giant neighboring planet as a reference because the developers seem to be flat-earthers that think that orbiting is like spinning on a flat top!" That's not how it works guys! :-P It wouldn't have usually been a thing that I would pay attention to except for how huge the planet (or really close moon) is and how visibly fast it orbits.

I want just the zombie mode by itself as its own expanded upon game. Everything else in the series is trash imo.

#8 my wife is an animator/digital compositer and I asked her how much work changing a light source would be for a digital animation and what she said (basically) was that even if you could change where the sun was located in the game, the shadows, light texture on the players/fans/stadium, and general lighting effects wouldn't match up with the angle of the sun. It would be a massive amount of work to re-do, so it wouldn't be worth it.

When it comes to day night cycles, like in that madden game for example, changing where the sun is can have massive effects. Firstly if the game doesn't use dynamic lighting, which many sports games dont, it could mean a mass rehull on the shadows to make it look realistic. Typically for sports games shadows are always casted in one direction, since the light source is almost always static. This means they don't need to have a shadow in response to a light source, just skybox that makes you think a light source is there, and then a static shadow that will always point one way. When you think about only the players it's really not an issue, but the amount of lighting detail that occurs in the background, on the stadium and on the fans is insane. So insane in fact they would pretty much have to either remake the game in an engine that supports dynamic lighting without console lag, remake the entire map for all times of day and hope no other maps have issue, or do nothing because it doesn't matter because new game in one year

my favorite error inside of the game is in Final Fantasy 10 where Titus wakes up at Kilika island after being attacked by sin in chapter 3, when he goes down stairs a kid is running in circles with his blitzball and he says I want to be a Blitzball when I grow up, not I want to be able to blitzball player when I grow up. I always found this hilarious for some reason

The funny part is that it wasn't a translation error. The translation of his line was totally correct. In the original Japanese version of FF10, he still said "When I grow up, I’m gonna be a blitzball!". Actually Xaldin and Lexaeus' names ARE really Dilan and Aeleus. They get new names when they join Orginization XIII. HOWEVER. There is still an error in Xigbar's true name, his real name is NOT Blaig it's Braig. Still a mistake, but it is you were mistaken about the game being mistaken gameranx.

Leon Delamayer no. The Nobodies aren't the real people. So it's still wrong lol the people that died and became Heartless were those names. The Nobodies were not. Roxas isn't truly Sora, just a part of him that thinks for himself.

The WoW's one is due to time line. When you create a character, it is like your level means how much you have lived of the current expansion. And to make it more clear, the area outside Orgrimmar had lv 90 mobs when you were doing the pre raid quests and events. But if you make a new character and go walking around there, you wouldn't see them. That is not a mistake, whomever submitted that didn't pay attention at all. Btw, this happens A LOT on wow, it is called 'zoning' or at least it was while I was playing. The real problem is: when the new expansion kicked in, you already had the area where you would find Varian's monument and even had the name for it, symbolizing his death.

Marcelo Yuri the same thing happened on the Horde side. I hadn't even bought Legion at the time, but it was as if Vol'jin had already died, yet he's still in my Garrisson. Marrad is still in various places even efter dying in Draenor. Plus I thought it was hilarious that you could visit 3 different Dalarans in 3 different zones depending on your progress.

I madden 17 or 18 they announce the chargers as if they still play in San Diego when they clearly moved to LA lol. “It’s a beautiful day of football here in San Diego, California” when it says “LA CHARGERS” in the stands

The English release of Zoids Saga II (called Zoids Legacy) had a _ton_ of translation errors. Many characters' names were directly romanized instead of being individually translated (ex. "Brad" becomes "ブラッド", literally "ba-ra-a-do", and romanized in-game as "Ballad"). In addition to this, there were tons of grammatical errors that made the story near incomprehensible to someone who hadn't seen the Zoids New Century anime. This was also a problem in the English port of Zoids VS II, but that game wasn't nearly as story driven, with the main arcade/battle mode taking up most of the gameplay time.

I wish I could remember the game but I played this computer game once way back in the early 2000's that when ever the characters talked the text was completely different. You couldn't go through most doors, nothing worked right. But you could go through most walls.

I've even seen multiple heads flying around. They weren't particularly anatomically accurate with the exploding body fatalities.

In Breath of the Wild, it is overlooked if you go through the memories quest early and get all your memories back. I found that out when, after completing the quest, I'm still telling people, "Sorry, your name doesnt ring a bell." It's a little humorous to me because it kind of makes it feel like Link is using the amnesia as a cop out afterwards.

I hate in Battlefield 1, when a level allows you to use binoculars, they disappear or or just can't be toggled on if you pick up a new weapon. In one case (and I couldn't repeat it) I saw the binoculars pop out in front of me in the air and if I held X in attempt to get them again they just moved.

How many different video game titles has this Falcon guy actually played? He doesn’t just present dialogue as if from a script. It’s like he’s reliving the moments HE experienced in each and every single game discussed on gameranx. And one has to assume that gameranx hasn’t had sufficient purpose to mention absolutely every game dude has played, which means the net number of games in this man’s repertoire is astronomical

That Kingdom Hearts mistake isn't actually a mistake. Those are the names of the characters before they joined they just add an X when they become members. Braig->(X)igbar

That's not actually a mistranslation. His name is Error and he's part of a quest related to another character called Bug but his name was translated as Bagu instead.

Riachu had an evolution in the beginning, alot of pokemon got scrapped pre release theres a bunch of pokemon that didn't make it into the final version. Theres a youtube video that shows them. I assume they forgot to change the dialogue in the final product

It's not a mistake in Kingdom Hearts. The "missprinted names" are their real names when they were complete people

dunno why wow in on this list with the garrosh thing. They kept him as a quest giver so it would feel like you're moving along the story while leveling up.

In fallout 4. The miscellaneous quest called “Fly Fishing” were you being a bloatfly gland to Dr. Duff. The quest marker is attached to ONE specific Bloatfly outside of Diamond City. Ounce you kill it it will tell you to return to her and the quest marker goes back to her. But if you find a bloatfly gland. It will tell you to return to her but will not take the first quest marker off the bloatfly. So I forgot where her lab was and ran around in circles until I discovered that the quest still was attached to marked bloatfly even though it told me to return to her.

0:54 That seems to me like a deliberate choice rather than a dumb mistake, just not to offend anyone and such. Something like that was done in Resident Evil 4. NPCs talked in spanish but that "spanish" was a mixed of accents from several spanish spoken countries, so you weren't able to guess from which country those NPCs were from.
