"self taught" is relative. Even if she didn't go to art school, I highly doubt she never bought an instructional art book. Which technically wouldn't be "self taught" since you are learning from the book.

The best tutorials on youtube. I learned a lot from you because you show us the process of the how, not just talk about it. Drawing means practice and a lot of tips that can help you learn faster as a beginner and improve your skill in the process. Many thanks 😊 🙏 ☺ 😘

I use 6B to 8B pencil to make shadows, and HB-4B I use them to make lighter shadows. I don't know what pencils you use, but mine is Stabilo. Edit: Thanks for the tips, it helps me to draw realistic things.
