    4:30 Needed that, the reason why is this. I am working on a Nublar 1993 build and just finished my upper section of the map and it came out really good, though, some more rock placements should round it out. Now I am on the lower section putting in my hotels and facilities and last few enclousers and its tempting to rush because I can't populate the rest of the park until the facilities are complete because that's where the hatchery is. I actually left hurricanes on and just didn't turn them off so there are bunch of broken fences and gates. Will need to take some time to drive around and fix those... My tip would be to play with the sensitivity a little, I usually also forget it is there and do everything on highest sensitivity, which might not always be the best option though. Also, make sure you have the grid lines visible when editing, it's a huge help. And lastly, it takes a lot of patience and going back and forth. But it's not impossible, one tip I would have for creating smooth paths that go up and down, always try to flatten different levels of it at first, with just tiny short clicks, spread it out a little and then smooth. Hopefully, you get what I mean, it's kinda hard to explain 😄

    Can we get a do and don'ts for the new square maps... Also the square maps are HUGE. Is it too much to split the map into Time Periods and have a showcase for each time period (early/late Cretaceous/Jurassic etc) and then make each of those like a mini park much like Disney world... Would mixing building styles then be a thematic choice? Where OG Jurassic Park buildings where for only the Jurassic Time Period? In base game (no DLC) there's late Triassic, early mid and late Jurassic, early and late Cretaceous and then Holocene The park idea would be like a clock face a large circular park split per period

    How do u put dinosaurs and tours in the aviaries ?

  • @JurassicTom

    @JurassicTom

    2 жыл бұрын

    You can put the tours there by default, just lean with the tour path towards the wall and it should automatically click. With the dinosaurs, that's a glitch exploit. Some dinos have a running animation when exiting the hatchery. If you put the hatchery very close to the aviary, they get locked in the animation and some of them run through the wall 🙂

  • @JurassicTom

    I don't know but... I feel that, even if I try to make my park in the sandbox mode cute, it looks ugly, I feel that the decorations are not aligned and that the paths end up going one on top of the other and making some changes in their structure because of that, I also feel that, because I play on an xbox one (a console that was not made for JWE 2), I will never be able to make a beautiful park, just people using PCS and a console like Xbox Seires X and a PlayStation 5 can... Do these little problems turn out to be facts or is it just me having problems because I can't make nice and cool parks...?

    For the paths clipping, there is a trick, you need to connect the path to the same kind of path that it was connected from. It means that, for example you have the red path, black path, and white path, in order for the white path not to go over, if you connect it to the red one, it needs to finish in the red one, not the black one. I do not know how it is to place decorations other than on PC, but even there it takes a lot of patience and going back, deleting it, adjusting it... sometimes I'm losing it in the process 😆 I know it's harder on console from what I've heard, but I wish you luck, I'm sure you can do it 😊

    I do get your point, yes, and I am battling with that notion myself sometimes, but then I think, when you look at the size of a huayangosaurus, for example, it's smaller than a regular planter, and with the way how its body is built, I'd believe you can keep it in such enclosure :D but of course, to create diversity, you need to stretch the realism of things a little I think.
