@@HuangThed he didn't do them perfectly, no matter what no one's gonna be able to execute is his feel, note, bend, vibrato, harmonic, etc. the only thing people can get down absolutely perfectly is his tone. he has about 95% of it down but like I said, no one will be able to completely replicate what dime did.

Everybody talking about Ola's skills but nobody's talking about how he's just secretly flexing with all his dimebag guitars

Hearing "The sleep" back when I was 9-10 years old is what made me want to play guitar in the first place, now I'm 35 still playing guitar all thanks to Dimebag 🙏🏻

In the cemetery gates intro solo dimebag beamed a piece of himself into you from heaven that solo hits me every time

Ending with the "Floods" solo/lead let me know how much of a fan Ola is of Pantera. Awesome stuff, Ola.

The solo to Floods still gives me goosebumps to this day. SO GOOD!

@@badq.concerts if he can play hard lines sunken cheeks, he can definitely play domination. Theres only one part of it that’s actually difficult, and hard lines sunken cheeks is actually deceivingly difficult, it’s really awkward and the really fast blues licks are super cumbersome to play.

Dimebag was such an idiosincratic player. Things came out of nowhere, especially the rhythm and yet in their way are perfect.

As iconic as Dime's "Floods" solo is, IMO, Rex's bass lines underneath make that whole section so intense. You and Wes Hauch are the only two that can truly capture that Dime "feel." \m/

Even if you are not a fan of the genre, DD was an amazing guitar player with very creative lines

Definately one of the best guitarists out there is you Ola. I tried to learn Pantera riffs when I was 19,watching their dvds or tapes back then... And could never nail Dimes feels or tone, he was just the best... It takes a lot of talent to come this close. If Pantera had a chance to continue without dime you would be their first choice. You've paid the brothers a lot of respect here may they rest in peace.

hard lines sunken cheeks is just one of the best solos of all time. totally underrated (or not talked about enough anyway). i've never been able to properly work it out, there's some really weird licks in there.

I must say, out of everybody playing Pantera songs, I like Ola's approach the most. Might not be 100 percent accurate, but he makes it sound so good in a way quite different from Dime. Adding his own style while not straying too far. Also, his mixes don't sound as abrasive and shrill as Pantera's lol
