Morung( men's dormitory)or it can be known as learning institution or training place for konyak Nagas men ,only bachelors were allowed to spend the night in this Institution until marriage, now with the emerged of new religion all the structure of this morungs are replace by modern roof and use only for meeting and festival purpose.
Log drum is one of the most important instrument in the morung, the sound of the log drum indicates different situation happened within the village, there is a different beating for different occasion and situation, the sound of this log drum can hear from neighbouring villages.
