My theory: the fire next to the thing at the start of the trailer is the end of chapter 2,as it’s next to the playcare.also I feel that this chapter will be 10x more scary explaining why it’s taking so long.

I think i heard somewhere that the devs said this will be the scariest chapter in poppy playtime.

What I feel like is that it’s going to be a sort of owl mixed with something because it has giant claws and an owl has claws. It also has wings and can see in the dark.

1. The player wakes up after the train crashed and notice the “play care” sign. 2. He picks up an emergency gas mask and goes through the gas. 3. He looked around found out that play care’s door is opened and he. Opens the door and goes to explore play care.

Ik they said they focusing on a more fear factor less awkward talking and not being able to do things type scenes but I hope the new monster also talks instead of just doing stuff I would like to know how it works and why it works the way it does

I find it interesting that we have a monster that is worshiping something greater than him. This new antagonist is starting to give me Sammy Lawrence vibes from Bendy.

i first thought the hour of joy was the day the factory shut down and the toys went on a rampage during the kissy missy found footage video. It took one hour for the toys to kill everyone in the factory but now I think it means the day the Prototype will set everyone free from the factory

My theory is that this could be a bird, more specifically an owl ? Since somniferous has links to sleep and a flock is a group of birds. In one of the children’s drawings, it has wings at the end of the jumpscare, it kind of sounds like a bird squark ( just very distorted) Also owls usually rip off and eat the head of their prey whilst hunting, so this could link to why all the other toys have no heads

My theory is that the gas mask is used for employees to breath through the gas, the gas seems to put people to sleep. So the gas mask would keep employees from sleeping as well. So the monster would put kids to sleep and some of them to do other experiments since the purple thing spewing the gas was once like the children, you have to kill it. And in the chapter it might spew the gas as an obstacle, if you fall sleep, it eats you. (Maybe) i dont have anything else to say. Sooooooo thats my theory :)

When Aeroga point out the clue with the gas mask in the teaser and then in the trailer, and then when the monster breathed out a cloud of smoke in the end I realized it must be connected.

Maybe that fire was probably the train from chapter 2 but reason why it was in play are was bc of the new VHS tape on how to transport kissy missy. Maybe those rooms and drawings are probably the rooms of the orphans and maybe are the dead children who were made into toys, and tbh I mentioned this theory on a short of urs talking abt mommy long legs saying you'll make me part of him and the prototype. We dont know much abt the monster but it might not have been the poppy gas, but at the end if the trailer it says "Chapter 3 Deep Sleep" maybe this monster is immune to this unknown gas, but this gas might be just like the poppy gas but makes u fall into a deep sleep, which they used for children at night, and then take one children and experiment on them and try to make them into toys. What if the monster is probably a failed or rejected experiment, but the was bigger, taller, and much more stronger and smarter than huggy wuggy and this probably has to do something with him since in the trailer there are 2 images of him, even in the teaser poster. None of the little huggy wuggys are purple and when I saw the claw I thought it was like huggy wuggy, plus the monsters face looks nothing similar to huggy wuggy, maybe it was either an earlier design of huggy wuggy or the first monster bc of how huggy wuggy was experiment 1170, so maybe this monster is experiment 0001. Anyways pls reply to my comment if u think this is probably some pretty good theories.

Im wondering if its more working for him because the somniferous is like induce sleep and flock is usually a company of animals and flock being used in goats, lamb or birbs. Also being cared by someone or "guidance" also with the cult aspect

I think the writing on the wall are written by the new character. Where it says "the original saved me" meaning that the prototype saved it from something and "I rejoice him" means it'll help the prototype in any way possible, and "our angel of salvation" meaning that it'll put it's life on the line to serve him(I think). When Dak said that the sentence in the top corner was 'trapped us in ore land' to me it looks like 'tide us in' I can't make out the last word but I think it says ' dar land' or something, and 'my somniferous flock' meaning the group of children are the flock and 'my somniferous' is when it's bed time for the kids. Finally 'never forget the hour of joy', I notice that it says 'hour' and not 'hours' and I think that means everyday there is a specific time called the 'hour of joy'. Idk what time or what happens and that time but it's definitely giving the monster joy. I just remembered the writing on the wall where the train runs by, I think that it was written by the new character. that's all I got and make sure to subscribe to my channel.😁

I think Elliot ludwig is the prototype and he combined all the monsters all in one after they died in each chapter and only one monster he killed, Daisy the flower which we never really saw. There is proff because i think that Mommy long-leg's arm is his right hand to help him shretch his hand. His left hand is long and sharp to stab. His left leg is Daisy's leg. And his other leg is his leg. Half of his face is huggy's face and i think huggy survived the fall in chapter 1 and the prototype was there and he tried to run from him but was too weak. That is all evidence that The Protoype was a damaged old robot that was made by Elliot ludwig himself. The other monsters he collected was to repair himself

I deff think the flock refers to the children. In one of the drawings it says “he gives me nightmares” so I kinda wonder if he brainwashed kids in their sleep to do his bidding and the reason the factory shut down was because he had the children attack for him. When you see the shadow of the prototype there’s candles in front so I wondered if maybe they literally do worship him.

1:04 That drawing on the wall makes the creature look like it has antennae. It could be an insect, like a Moth or something.

I actually have a theory that the monster can take form of animals, at one point he is drawn as a bird, then a dog, then we see his arms drawn without claws, probably referring to wings. So I belive that if we fall asleep to the gas, it will give him a different appearance in our nightmare which will affect the rest of the gameplay, leading to multiple endings possible: Good ending, we finished the chapter without falling asleep Bad ending, at the first encounter, you fall asleep, changing the gameplay and appearance of the monster to a bird. In the end, you die. Worst ending, you fell asleep to the gas near the end of the chapter, causing a new and different gamelay and changing the monster's appearance to a dog (As far as I know, dogs are more violent than birds). You end up brutally dying and is sacrified to the monstrosity of toys. If you want, share your theories in the replies.

It's a cat, not bunny. As long as I remember, rabbits dont have these ◇ pupils, only lizards or cats do. The antagonists hand is made out of fur so it cant be a lizard, only a cat could have it.

Ok so i think that the Huggy that got his head ripped Off isnt the real huggy becaUse if that was the real huggy, the new monsteR would be massively humongous! So i think thats a mini hugg - wait......mini huggys dont have teeth, so that has to be a plush huggy because, (! WARNING: FROM THIS POINT ON, I AM GOING TO BE CALLING THE PLUSH HUGGY A PLUGGY TO NOT WASTE TIME !) in the Project: Playtime trailer, one Of the players finds a pluggy laying in the middle of the Floor. He picks the pluggy up and a few seconds after, the pluggy randomly Jumpscares him and then starts tO have a anxiety attack, but if You look closely, the pluggy has teeth but the mini huggys dont. So, the pluggy that got its head ripped of was a living pluggy, and the reason he ripped the living pluggys head off is because he got annoyed, and the annoyed turned into in§anə and ripped his head off, killing it instantly. And thats it for now :] .__ . ._. . .___ ___ .. _._. . .. _. _ .... . .... ___ .._ ._. ___ .._. .___ ___ _.__

This chapter gives me cult like feeling. My theory is the monster would kill the other toys and give it to the prototype. I many cults they do sacrifice and put heads on sticks like what happened to huggy, the monster might be doing this so the prototype won’t kill and make the monster part of him. But hey that’s just a theory a game theory. Thanks for reading

I love how the jumpscare includes the children’s screams, so freaky!

You know when the monster is referring to the original saving him, it doesn’t mean it’s the prototype, it could also be referring to the FIRST of the bigger bodies (if u guys have project playtime and keep up with the lore the first is boxy boo) and we do know boxy is atleast going to have some impact on chapter 3 either with a mention, cameo or a full on appearance we do know boxy has a major part in the story of poppy playtime as a whole and chapter 3.

I think the monster will be a bird mixed with either a cat or a puppy, i have a custom name for it “sir puppers” or as he likes to be called “the savior”

1:32-135 and 2:05-2:17 So the new antagonist breaths out of this so called "Red Fog"? "Red dust"? And we have a gas mask with red fog surrounding it in the first teaser? *OMG* When I thought about this, I *IMMDEDIATELY* thought of a theory! So here's my theory: You have a gas mask because since the new antagonist of Poppy Playtime somehow breaths out this "Red fog" or "dust", it can put you into a deep sleep, basically a heavy sleep and when you *do* sleep, it kills you. Maybe. So the gas mask was made to (maybe obviously) prevent you to fall asleep and be awake and survive that monster. Please like this comment if you like my theory! 😁👍

I can't wait for chapter 3, and I have one question will there be a gameplay trailer for chapter 3 in mid winter, before the chapter 3 is released cause this is just a teaser trailer not a gameplay trailer, and yeah I am also a sheeprampage fan he is very good at this.

If you look at the claw on the wall where it says don’t forget the hour of joy, that claw is like a cats claw, also the face is shaped like a cats face. I think the new bad guy in the next chapter could be a cat. There is a cat in the game series, Candy cat. If they have toys you can buy like huggy wuggy and mommy long legs that are a real living thing in the factory, then could candy cat have a living toy version of it. Think about it, most of the toys playtime co. Sold, they made living toys out of orphans that signed a paper for the bigger bodies initiative. Could this mean that all the toys playtime co. Sold to kids have a living and bigger version of themselves in the factory? Maybe you will have to fight all these toys in future chapters, but that would be a lot of chapters. I just solved the whole lore of this game.

Aeroga I'm half way through the video when you start talking about the decapitations and i just remembered the first trailer shows Huggy, Mommy, and then Brons HEAD.

My theory was that the new monster is a 12 feet tall Hare with big arm (instead of wings) and he is looking for the new mascots. The Joytoys! (Reference to Hour Of Joy) which could be the name of the monster, JoyHare! Well now we know that is is CatNap but, I still what this “JoyHare” to be in chapter 4 like a rejected toy to replace CatNap❤

I can't wait for chapter 3 i think the playcare will be mixed with darker places and coloured places is that a good theory ???

I think the amalgamation is the prototype because at the end of chapter two while getting shredded mommy long legs says "you'll make me a part of him" so thats a theory

My theory. It might have a trailer of a toy like chapter 2 did. The train will be flipped over and the player will walk to the playcare. The gas mask will be obtained in the beginning or middle through a puzzle. The hands are getting a new design and i think there's gonna be new hands. The monster might be a bear.

Theres a video of the poppy play time 3 monster that poppy play time just posted on yt..its a bunny.. and the line it says.. "free Joyice of the hour of joy, because of the time if sleep is near!" That means the bunny in the playcare is making the kids sleep to be experimented on! (Edit)theres also the red gas the monster breaths out.. and its a sleeping gas.. so it may have the power to make kids sleep quickly..and the prototype is a saver? Yes.because in the death lines in poppy play time.. it says.. "the prototype saved us! Isn't he wonderful?" And theres a line that says.. A flock might not refer to a flock of animals, but instead a fibrous material (like cloth) meant for stuffing or covering something. A somniferous flock could mean a sleep-inducing coat of fur the monster has, or maybe that’s how it excretes the sleeping gas. Additionally, there is writing on the wall referencing being “trapped in garlands” or something of that nature, garlands being akin to a wreath. Interesting imagery when thinking about a garland/wreath and being trapped (or wrapped) in one, along with being covered by or wearing a flock. Any sort of connection with both of these things being worn/adorned?

When I saw the trailer I said to myself If it comes out before or after Christmas I’m getting it on steam

My Thoughts on what that Toy could be: Koala and Sloth (Sleeps Alot (If read the The Sentences at 1:26 you will see " my Somniferous Flock " And Somniferous means sleepy) Teddy Bear (Obv bc most of the time it's you're Sleeping Companion and Toy Friendly) Owl (Because it has Glowing Eyes eyes and the Claws reminds me of Talons it plus the Flock thing and how it's has a Sleeping Vibe) Octopus Mixed with Something?? (Because Octopus Shoots Ink and usually the Ink can be Poisonous it's also a good Companion for a Sleeping Toy)

my theory is that the monster took all the the dead monsters and mix them togeather to make a body for the prototype and yes this is a ritual and we may get all the monsters combined cause none of the monster had a head and it may be joined to the prototypes body

I just realized that all the chapters are in order of the years 2021 was chapter 1 2022 was 2 and 2023 is chapter 3

Well from my expected I think it’s a cat and a bird so we have to boss or a good boss and a mean boss

I think the hour of joy is going to be An hour in chapter 3 since we know it will be longer so in the last hour of the game ALL the toys insane and kill everything and everyone this is just a theory I had and it's probably not true but it would be pretty cool and scary
