You have a pleasant voice and lovely ideas. No need for the music as it distracts from your tutorial.

I could hardly hear her over the music. Too bad; she has some good ideas.
Like others have said, please lower the volume of the music
Unfortunately the camera is way too close to really see the projects, we see mostly you (not meant unkind) but I’d like to see more of the full linen project. Also music is unnecessary and loud. On a brighter note, I love your channel and I’m a new subscriber. Thank you, Theresa
I think the charming bird crochet applique would look lovely as a pillow. If you get tired of the skirt, definitely reuse the applique for a pillow!!

I love the lace window screen!! Awesome!
Using them for screens is so brilliant, love all your ideas. I’m guessing your Mom will love the sailboats made with driftwood and cut-up handkerchiefs.

agree with Joe.....great ideas, I think, could not quite understand due to high volume music.
Great ideas! I love thinking out of the box! Thrifting is more fun when you've got a wide range of possibilities. Thanks!
I love old liens! You gave me some great ideas.
These are the best tips I've ever seen for using vintage linens - and I have a Pinterest board for them. Thank you for sharing! (I will go to your blog article to add to my pins). My favorite is the beautiful doily you added to your skirt.

Hi, My sister in law . Was kind enough to sew my wedding dress. She used her grandmother's lace tablecloth as inlay on my dress. I loved it and Still have it.

Back in the 80’s while antique hunting on vacation in the desert, my husband and I were blessed to find several boxes filled with incredible vintage handmade quilts, doilies, linens of every kind, embroidered and crocheted dresser scarves and pillowcases. Huge score! I’ve displayed some of it, but sorry to say most has been stored in the linen closet all these years. I need more ideas! Can you do a follow-up please? Help! 💕
You have made beautiful things from your linens. Thank you.

Lovely and love the diy no sew panels 🌸 I picked up a twin size dust ruffle for my window seat 6.00 at Walmart clearance ... these are great tips- I picked up some vintage napkins that would make a great runner - vintage linens are so beautiful 😍

Thoughtful design ideas for vintage linens. I have boxes full of all types of linens. My mother, my grandmother, my sisters all collected them, when they passed or downsized I got the lot. I have that exact bird, must have been a trend back in the day. Thanks for sharing. I gained an idea or two. I am enjoying your channel very much.

A friend of mine from England made the most gorgeous curtains from damask tablecloths. You know, those heavy ones your grandmother handed down that sit in a drawer not being used. White with the most delicate pattern. Just the bees’ knees!

Very ingenious ideas, l especially like your Screen Idea! I would imagine it casts beautiful shadows on your walls at certain times of the day. ♥️👍🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
When I grew up, girls' twin beds usually had a pretty dust ruffle, and adults' beds had bedspreads, so that may be why you don't find larger lacy ones.

Thank you for this educational and inspiring video. I love to repurpose elegant older cotton and linen damask tablecloths. You can pick them up for a song at Goodwill. I cut them in half the long way, which makes 2 very long strips. I cut the strips into sections to use as dishtowels! Then I finish the raw edges. Damask linen dishtowels would cost about $20 each at the high end kitchen stores. I iron them and give them for shower and birthday gifts. I made a KZread video about this. It's called, Goodwill's Best Kept Secret...from Grandma Bunny.
I love the lace screen idea.
I love the driftwood sailboat and I think I have that hankie❤️❤️
I just found your channel and love your ideas. Last summer my mom gave me a bunch of vintage linens. Some were a yellowish color (natural) but not very pretty- I think they are crochet . I was wondering how you'd incorporate them. Also some were kitchen towels and table cloths with the bright red blue and yellow colors (cherries, etc. ) Trying to figure out how to use them. Looking forward to more videos.
Some cool ideas. Thank you.

loved the bird idea
I adore vintage linens of all kinds. 🤍
The skirt is beautiful. Ive never seen a crocheted bird before
I agree with the music being way too loud was on the verge of stopping the video early when I decide to put subtitles up instead
I appreciate your ideas. I have my mother's hankercheifs that my dad brought back from Japan and the Philippines. I would never ever cut them. They mean too much. 😊

This is the dye I use! amzn.to/2NBRTKm And thank you!
I had someone give me a large bag FULL of old crocheted and lace tablecloth, runners, doilies, etc., but several have holes or are torn in some way. I was ready to throw them out (because I really don't know how to repair them) and then watched this video. I'm wondering how you would recommend using them without having them really come apart, since they are crocheted. I'm afraid, if I cut them into smaller pieces, they will just start unraveling. Do you have any suggestions?
@SheHoldsDearly
4 жыл бұрын
You are right about cutting them in the correct spots. You have to only cut around complete shapes. You might want to just try a little sample are first.
I find elegant linens sometimes thrifting that might be finely embroidered and i need to use them. Cant pass buying them because i know how much work has gone into them. Love your skirt.

Oh my goodness I love your videos! I’m your newest sub🤗. You have excellent content. I will say the videos you do horizontal are difficult to see. I may have that mixed up but hopefully you know what I’m talking about. Please know I’m only saying that because you have such good content we want to see all of it well!😉 Where do you live that you don’t have to have air conditioning? That would be wonderful! I’m in the south and it’s already hitting almost 90'!🥵
I could only listen to it until the music started. Then my hearing aid picked up the music & not what she was saying. Until the music started it was good.

Hi!!! Very creative uses for these linens. I wanted to ask, I noticed that you have sweet little girl clothes hanging in different rooms from various videos over the years. Are these treasures from your little one that passed? I am sorry if I am confusing that with someone else. God bless!

I love all these great ideas. I adore that chair you did, gorgeous chair! When you use the “twin size dust ruffles” , do you cut the end off? Any dust ruffle is 3 sided, so what do you do to the end flap? That idea is stuck in my head since you mentioned it last Week! love, love love that idea! Thanks!

Thank you, Jayne, I don't do anything with the end that doesn't have trim. Usually, I will use two tables end to end with two dust ruffles meeting in the middle.
