Geez Louise ladies Take what resonates with you and leave the rest behind We don’t always have to agree with everyone or everything OR even understand someone else design process I’m sure that if WE all shared our home with the world someone out there would criticize. This is Angela’s style end of story. Angela if you read or see this I enjoy your staging I love your style And most importantly Thank you for sharing and taking the time to makes these videos.

I love that you not only decorate with your vintage items but that you actually use them in your everyday living, from textiles to dishes and more. Love your vintage, eclectic style! I'm no minimalist either!

I love all if them! Vintage linens are my kryptonite! Any estate sale, thrifting, or garage sale I go to I search for them. I have tablecloths, napkins, handkerchiefs, and pillow cases that were hand tatted and embroidered by my great grandmother. I cant wait to style my bed now!

Love the extra throw on the corner of the beds! You can take a nap and cover up without messing the bed.

Was born in the 60's & this brought back memories of my mama ironing our cotton sheets. Nothing's better than sleeping on freshly ironed/starched linens, especially in the summer!

Dressing the bed-my grandmother used to refer to sheets and pillow cases and bedspreads as bed clothes. I loved the linens dried on the clothes line and remember my mother ironing at least the pillow cases.

Angela, recent subscriber here, you-ve helped me step forward out of the rut of just being disappointed and confused at homemaker life. My husband doesn't like me worrying about money so he views a lot of homemaking skills suspiciously- frugal is more like parsimony- not cool for him. But- your channel, brings so much joy to the simple things- so inspiring to me to do things for the beauty of it, not just to pinch a penny- and he has noticed and is truly appreciative and proud of the work I do now. Thanks for giving me the place from which to grow :-)

Love, love, love it all. I have gathered for over 30years of vintage linens, anything and everything. I am a textile artist and quilter, and make lovely things from all my treasures. I also use the linens for my homemade doll clothes. Many blessings for your vi.

I’ve had a rough few days... retirement has it’s own share of difficulties, especially with this horrid virus. I have been praying blessings over you this afternoon, while I waited on hold for 2 hours and 45 minutes with a government agency... and watched you, from the beginning... following your dreams, and making them come true with as much heart, planning, muscle and sweat as you can muster, while loving God, your husband and children with genuine affection. My heart is warmed and encouraged by beautiful souls like you. Thank you for the reminder that purposeful dreams are the best lives lived out. Mine sure have... I am rich in the blessings from the fruit of focus and hard work. I will be picking up where I last left off during your first year... enjoying every snippet and taking in every carefully placed item in your corners and spaces. I’d have you over in a second for my home roasted pour over songbird coffee with a hunk of crusty baguette and lots of good butter... maybe with some Georgia peach preserves on the side. ((HUGS)) full of thank you.💞

Ha. I take everything off at the beginning of the evening. Trust me, I don’t want him handling my ancient French pillows. It’s all comfy and no fuss by the time he gets there:)

Yes, this is over the top, pretty but I wouldn't ever stage my bed like this. Fun to look at though :) I have old duck and geese decoys but if they ever appeared on the bed with books etc. my husband would probably come out and ask if I am feeling ok. lol, very fun video and creative nonetheless!

I love all 4 looks but just not sure about the books, ducks, vase and flowers.....

I agreed. Her basic arrangements are all lovely but the things you mentioned feel not quite as belonging to the bed as the cushions, holsters and other fabrics.

I think the accessories are nice, and can be incorporated into the entire look on bedside tables, to convey each style

Don’t know why you would put a vase of flowers on a bed easy to knock over and full of pollen same with old musty books and old dusty cushions . I like more of a clean fresh look .

@@mrsprivate1678 well, i have done this. Since the bed is not used until evening, I love walking into my room with something extra. I admit I haven't used a pitcher with flowers but have done small vignettes. PS. I don't have small children underfoot and my husband rolls his eyes but humors me. 😄

Items on bed were used for props Books , ducks, vase all used to give a sense of style and staging I have seen countless images especially when selling a home a bed tray with a vase of flowers and coffee pot and even a croissant Use your imagination people Do what you feel is right for you You don’t always have to understand or figure out why Just go with what feels right for YOU!

Nothing is better than crawling into a bed of fresh linens which dried on the clothesline. They smell and feel like fresh air. Wow! What a childhood memory they bring back to me. Thank you for it!

I have learned to crochet. I am going to have to find a pattern because I want to try my hand at sewing my own organic cotton sheets. I figured out you can use quilt backing fabric as it is big enough even for a king size bed! 😊

Angela what a unique idea to zero in on what should be the focal point of our bedroom: namely the bed. I think making up a bed that draws your eye and interest can be quite a challenge, but you gave us four great options, so thank you for making this video. I don’t garden because we live in a townhome and there are restrictions. Since we are empty nesters there isn’t a high demand for a lot of food, but I love to decorate, arrange and rearrange things in our home, so these videos are really special for me. You have many gifts and talents and a charming personality that helps you to excite and endear your followers to you, and to anticipate what you might come up with next. How fun was this video?! You have a beautiful home and such a romantic bedroom.We have similar decor taste. I love to decorate my bed for Christmas. I have special bedding. I string greenery garland, fairy lights,etc. through the iron headboard and hang a wreath above. Oh, and seasonal throw pillows. My poor husband gets no say in the house decor.Thanks for sharing!

I love old linens. I am lucky enough to have a set of sheets that my grandmother did cut work along the edges of sheets and pillow cases. Love the feel of the cotton sheets and there isn't a spot or hole in any of it. Also have a crochet bedspread. Loved your different takes on dressing your bed.

Herbs on a bed sounds great. I like the Christmas one best 🙂 thanks for sharing and inspiring.

Lovely invitations to shop our own home before purchasing things.........chances are we have much more than we realize all ready to be used..........a thrifty reminder! Oh my word, love your bedroom. This practical Norwegian has a lovely cast iron bed, imported from Ireland, but, there it stops, I have a big dawn comforter, and change the covers once a week, just after what is on top of the clean linen pile! 😂 I have some pillowcases after my grandmother, I use them every day. you cant get that quality anymore. Love the crocheted decor, and the embroidered initials on them. And what good memories to treasure. 💕

Loved this! Can’t wait for my AB linens to arrive. I add a little faux fur to my winter bed. The texture seems to really suit the cozy mood.

Beautiful video, you have a knack for settings! Reminds me of staying at my Grandparents (in Wisconsin, where I now live too). Loved sleeping upstairs with no heat, but piles of blankets and heavy cotton sheets. The floors were so cold we didn’t get out of bed until morning! Shared the bed with my sister to keep warm. Today, I love clean cotton sheets hung outside (oh the smell alone can put me into dreamy sleep!) with homemade quilts on top (I’m a quilter). Ahhhh 💤

I like the French Apartment. I would make a quilt out of the pink fabric as it is more useful on a bed than just a fabric sheet.

You inspire me to shop my linen cupboard and change up my look. I actually inherited some vintage sheets with lace. They are so fancy, and expensive, I haven't dared sleep in them, but draping would be a good idea. I love French or English country looks, and have always loved dressing things up for dining. I had to put on a sweater here today, but looking for some more sunny 70's before it gets real cold.

I love all the items added which I think are great ideas of items and accessories you can add not necessarily to the bed itself but can also place on nightstands, bed side stools or benches, dressers or other furnishings around the bed. I have been doing this for 45 years. Add things to my bed. I have a LARGE basket (few) the I put the things in at night time. Makes it easier to keep it ORGANIZED. .Or book shelves or night stand tables. You'll figure it out. So much fun we have.🌺💐🌷🌹💖💜

I love vintage linens also. In fact. I specifically bought a pair of embroidered pink pillow cases for her to take to boarding school at 16. The quality of the linens. I have a few top sheets. I am turning a linen table cloth into a bed skirt. And yes I iron mine also. Something so satisfying. Draping a embroidered table cloth over the bottom is an added special touch
