Here’s an idea for a video. Heroes who took another heroes identity

Kraven the Hunter likes this
In the first issue of _I vs. X_ a little Mutant girl died from the Terrigen Mists. She wasn't an established character, just a little girl living her life killed by Inhumans thoughtless actions. That bothered me so much and cemented Blackbolt and hus kin as flat-out villains.

Yeah, Marvel did a terrible job of trying to make the Inhumans relatable. Moreover, they went from having a neutral opinion on the part of the fans to being despicable. I suspect that many authors sabotaged the comics on purpose.

@@Nx57ytre I wish that were true but I remember reading lots of articles with Charles Soule, the main Inhumans writer who created most of the new ones, gave several interviews where he kept explaining why the Inhumans were good and the this fight was so morally grey. It was all so brainless with no thought put into it. I think it was just a case of lazy writing that he was proud of. What's weirder is how Marvel execs wanted the Inhumans to go against Mutants. I get Disney hated not having the movie rights but it seems like a smarter decision would be just to end the X-Men comics and have the Inhumans fill their spot. Instead, they do another hero vs hero story and it totally falls apart.

@@wdcain1 They were all about Event comics at the time, so it was about the money they could make. Besides, it was pretty likely that they changed the ending. I for one believe the theory that the idea was to change all the mutants into Inhumans, but they chickened out because of fan reaction to everything.
You should've included the fact that the Flash(Barry Allen) was dead for over 2 decades and all of the Flash monikers were replaced with Wally West.
Jules, as always, you say exactly the correct thing at the end of your video. Thank you very much, sir.
I'm surprised Marvell wasn't brought up. I can't think of a more horrifying death than slowly succumbing to cancer. Despite all his power and heart, it was the one threat he couldn't overcome.

Cancer isn’t that painful since u go to sleep before u die

@@TheSlowScholar I never said it was painful. The topic was horrible deaths. I think it would be horrible being destroyed from inside. Thanks fur sharing though.
I'm here for the that last wholesome minute from Jules. Much love and respect mate❤❤
This great and dramatic reading, and the kind message at the end, gave me so much concentrated angst that I've had enough internet today.
Excellent video! Thank you, Jules.
Your lil speech hit pretty hard this week. Thanks you. World needs a lil more positivity
A bit of an odd one, but Kenny from South Park, who has the superhero ID of Mysterion mentioned that though he won 't stay desd, he remembers EVERY painful gory death he has ever experienced.
Thanks once more for the kind words ! Much needed!
Wtf, dident expect that ending. Im crying here.
Great video 👍 comics
You made me subscribe with that last message, thank you.
2 earth-Xs?

Yeah I said the same thing....
I have to say, some of the deaths in the Infinity Gauntlet comics were pretty brutal. They weren’t as gory as the ones here, but none of the characters deserved to die the way they did.
The Ultimate line really went downhill with the Wasp/Blob thing. Stupid "shocking" just for the sake of. That and the damn endless mini series, just call it a 12 or 16 issue limited series instead of 3 or 4 4 issue minis!!
Damian Wayne, Bart Allen, Superboy, Kilowog and The Green Lantern Corps, Spider-Man vs Morlun
To this day, I still cannot believe how awful the writing was for the vast majority on Avengers vs. X-Men. Brilliant battlefield heroes like Cap and Cyclops just reduced to mindless idiots all over the place due to the utterly horrible writing.
#1 Everyone who didn't drown in 'Ultimatum' 😂
THIS WHOLE IS LIST COULD HAD FOCUS ON Ultimatum
Reading Crisis when it came out was just stunning. Then seeing Supergirl and Flash go out in one series...just, damn.
For everyone saying Jules said two Earth-X’s. The final two Earths are Earth-X and Earth-S. I assume it just sounds like he says “x” twice.

I'm a year late late and needed this. Thank you.
How about nearly everyone in Warren Ellis' Ruins?
It happens fast, but leaves a mark for 100 times as long
The Death of Superman also marked an end of comic book golden age.😭
I lost my wife this past December and of 20 years I really hope to get lead a healthy normal life again. Thank you what culture
The whole blob eating wasp thing was one of the things that killed the ultimate universe. Instead of telling good stories, the writers substituted that for gory and edgy deaths

For some reason there is a lot of people eating each other in the ultimate universe.

@@gayanudugampola8973 yeah, like how Hank Pym grew to giant size and ate blobs head right after blob killed wasp

I thought it was the Maker that killed the Ultimate universe.
I could be wrong about this but I thought the flash didn't actually die but spent decades running from the Black Racer aka Death.
Whats the name of the comic book shown 1:52 ? Love the art
Jack of Hearts reappeared in one of the marvel zombies stories, being pulled into that universe by an experiment at the lab where a different experiment resulted in zombie clones of several superheroes
You said watch-X twice
@GabePuratekuta

What if I haven't watched it once?
How about top ten zombie superhero characters
I think Jules said Earth - X twice for the death of Supergirl but it could also be me mishearing.
Bit of an odd one, but Dollar Bill. Not particularly horrendous or anything, but every time I read The Watchmen, I can't help but linger on how that must've felt. He was just a man in a suit. With a cape...😢
Iron man pulled in two, war machine chest blown out through his back from a punch
Antman wasn’t so bad, instant death by explosion.
I hate ultimatum because that series was nothing but a terrible gore fest.
I’m sorry but I don’t think I’ve seen one video where the video lives up to the title… how is cyclops killing Xavier quickly a “horrible” death
I think Ultimate Spider-Man's death was also horrible.
First different universe
Thank for The video ❤️❤️🌈🌈
at 6:55 he said earth-x twice
Earth-X and Earth-X 🤔😂 😂
There were 2 Earth-X's????
Heh. Bloodwynd.
I'm disappointed that you pronounced MordRu incorrectly every time.
Thor in his current movie !
Captain America had died a horrible death. Just stupid really. What was the point? O,yeah sell more comics.
