Hi, this year I have a “3 golds” theme... white gold, yellow gold and rose gold. Have plenty of gold and silver ornaments, but made most of the rose gold ornaments myself w/ spray paint, glitter, pearls, ribbons and more...

My tree is done with white and silver. I add pops of blue into white and silver around the house. I have a winter woodland vibe around my fireplace with the deer, fox and squirrels made of natural materials. I just love it.

I love the traditional Christmas colors. Red and Green but white is so elegant and classy.

This year I’m doing natural woods, whites and greens with some dried orange slices. Going Scandinavian!

I love anything buffalo check, but I love how that thrift store Chritmas tree turned out. So pretty.

The blue frame you painted black and used the Let It Snow sign, was a frame to put a calendar in. It would come out every time you changed the month or even a new calendar....I love what you did with it!!

I love all of these! Little snowflakes would be cute on the Let It Snow sign. Love your creativity.

Love this video.This year I am going with a mostly white christmas tree, but accents of red in our family room with our bookshelves.

My 5-year-old grandson watched with me, and he loved the sleigh fit the best of all!! ❤

I decorate my tree in red and gold primarily. In addition to the Christmas balls (which are all glass in differing sizes and shapes), I use clip on large poinsettias from Kirklands and Pier One. I add some ice cycles that are glittery and sparkling. Many of them have been collected over the years. Finally, I incorporate whatever is current for a particular year. As I get older, I find I’m not so militant about how it should be decorated. Now I use memorable items, or things that remind me of times with my children when they were little, and things that I just like to look at.

My favorite was the tray with the candles and ornaments. My decorating theme this year will be an old fashion snowy Christmas in blues and silvers. I'm also decorating my kitchen area in a gingerbread theme. Thank you for sharing all of these wonderful ideas, now I'm excited to get started on my diy projects for Christmas.

Lovely, easy and creative decor ideas, Liz. My favs were the sleigh, burlap sacks (on my list to look for some) and the Christmas tree brought to new life. My theme this year is Woodland in white with woodland decorations and animals in wood, silver, and a hint of blush pink, large blush pink cabbage roses tucked between the branches and a huge spray of sparkling white dripping florals with silver branches around a soft glittery star at the top. Also tucked around the tree are several large white feather owls. I have some tall lighted birch trees from Home Goods that I place around my living room as well, and add silver metal stags and lanterns. I wrap a soft plush white throw blanket with big white pompoms that looks like snowballs around the tree to give the illusion of snow. I tend to change the theme of my decor about every year. Such a fun time of year. Looking forward to your next projects! ❤🎄❤

I just love shopping at thrift stores and the restore in my area. It's such an inexpensive way to pick up previously loved or used for other things products and totally making them into unique, beautiful new things all together. Repurposing is just fun to do! Your items all turned out so nice. Although they were inexpensive and not very labor intensive they turned out looking so high end and will be beautiful in your home for years to come. This is a perfect example of what I say, which is that you really don't have to have a lot of money to have beautiful things or a gorgeous home! TFS Liz!

Renewing the life of an old Christmas tree made me so happy. It makes me sad to see them tossed away...they have so many happy memories to share with us!

I use the same colors and family ornaments every year. I also have a craft business so I add items each year that I’ve made. I’m obsessed with snowmen! My colors are traditional, reds and greens and some natural burlap thrown in certain areas.

would like to see some "pop" of other colors-- not just white for holiday decor ideas. I liked the snow added to the Christmas tree

I've got 2 Xmas trees. A white one for my dresser...all whites, golds, silvers and pearls. My living room one's atop a buffet....green with tinsel, white lights and mostly teal, purple and green ornaments...some silver and gold, too. The colors look like a peacock.

It is too hard to pick a favorite, I love them all. I will be doing something similar to the two wooden presents for my wall.

My fav today - It's the most wonderful time sign. I always decorate with red, green, and gold. It's the only time of year I can. And I love trees with multicolor lights - such sweet memories.

Our three this year is baking theme with measuring cups and spoons, hand towels as ribbon, small spatulas, and a chefs hat as a tree topper 🎄

Love jar candle holder.

At my home we are doing a vintage/elegant/thrifted style. I have been buying up non-breakable silver ornaments at the thrift stores and I plan to use them in bowls and such. I do have greens for the mantle and I would love to work in some mercury glass. My oldest son will go away to college this coming year. These last four years, I have been recovering from cancer and the negative effects of my immunotherapy. This year I am feeling better and I really want to make this Christmas great. 😁👍💖

Absolutely loved the winter print. So vintage, warm, and cozy. The spindle logs were unique too!

L E - I went from a 3,000 sq.ft. house to a 900 sq.ft. apartment, so I understand! BUT - once I really got into the idea of "being freed" from so much "stuff", I embraced what I really loved and sold/donated everything else! It has been five years now and I can honestly say that I don't miss the merchandise or the space. I enjoy the two crafts/projects that I kept tools etc. for and absolutely love my apartment - it is so easy and quick to keep spotless that I have more time for family, friends, crafting, reading, music etc. etc.! Added bonus: More money for travel from saving on utility bills, paying for weekly yard service, blah, blah, blah!! I hope you can be happy and comfortable in your new space.

Love them all. Easy, inexpensive all beautiful.

This Christmas I plan on using copper, brown, green and white. Love the wooden gifts.

I am using light blue, navy blue and silver this christmas with some grey and white accents. My family owns an online ribbon store so I have some very pretty bows! Thanks for the santa sleigh redo! I’ll be doing the same but in navy!!

I haven't even thought about Christmas yet bc I love Halloween so much but the Let it snow sign and the updated tree were my favorites! When you rubbed the paint on the spindles was that cloth wet or dry?

We’re doing a bright teal, gold, and white tree again this year. Love these diy ideas! The updated frame for the winter print is definitely my favorite. I’m excited to see what I can find at the thrift stores for my decor this year.

I love the redo on the old picture it looks fab with just a new paint color on the frame. Very classy.

Do people really change colors annually? I stick with traditional red/green/gold colors and then just update accents. My tree is not themed either. I change the ribbon every year though

I started using the buffalo check as part of my Christmas theme last year and I fell in love with it. I’ll def be using that again this year and then just red and white. Love the burlap bags. I will def be adding that to my decor this year !

I make candlesticks and snowmen out of old spindles. Love your idea!

My two favorites were the tree at the end and the winter picture where you painted the frame. For that picture, it looked like there was a little bit of green tint in the picture, so I might have chosen to paint the frame a subtle green and then drybrush on the white, leaving a little of the green showing. I think it would help tie the two together. I have one other question/suggestion: When you are covering something with paper, like you did with the sled, is there a reason you don't just apply the Mod Podge to the sled, press the paper on and let it dry, and then cut away the excess paper as opposed to trying to make a template? It just seems to me like it would save a step. I loved the idea of cutting the spindles up and bundling them as well. I was a little sad that a lot of the detail at the center of the spindles was hidden by the picks and the ribbon, but I really couldn't see a better way to do it. The picks and ribbon really finished it off. Your projects are always very creative!

Are you kidding a favorite? I can't possibly pick 1 out..I love them all..

Loved the burlap bags under the tree idea. Nothing under mine either and it looks so bare. Great idea for stencils on them too.

I have a new 7 1/2 foot tree, I am so excited to be able to put it up. I think I will go with silver and blue. This is a flocked tree. I might change my mind though. I'm a true crafter.

I think the updated tree came out really well - very tasteful. I don’t change my Christmas decor every year. I have decorations that I’ve collected over the years, from my childhood, and even passed down from parents and grandparents. They mean a lot to me and I think they work because of that. I can’t imagine just going and getting a bunch of new stuff that all goes together but has no meaning. But, that’s just me.

I do Red for my holiday. My tree does have handmade and ones we have bought over the years. I love the holidays and this will be able to have our tree up. The last two years I was laid up from surgery's. So happy to have it up.

I liked them all. The picture sign, "Let it snow". was very cute and I especially like the idea of giving that old winter scene picture some new life. IT Looked so nice when it was completed. I would have to say that the wooden presents were my favorite of all!

Hey sweetie on your dollar tree stencils, put your stencil where you want it, secure it down and before you apply your paint, use mod podge first. Let the mod podge dry completely. After mod podge dries, paint as normal using either your brush or dabbed. You should have NO bleeding because you basically sealed the letter area. Try it out. I won’t use dollar tree stencils without mod podge ever again. Cheers

My favorites were the wrapped presents, well, everything! I can’t just pick one. I have many Christmas decorations and many flavors of color for my Christmas because I just like everything fun and I have many different collections. Your video was a good inspiration to get started!

My favorite was the winter picture with the repainted frame. It saves me having to decorate twice. Once at Christmas-same for the rest of winter.
