For people confused about the censorship that had to happen in the UK version of Mario Party 8. In the UK the word spastic is considered a inappropriate slur against disabled people.

Croco's line about Mario being a persistent bugger when being chased through Bandit's Way was changed to persistent pest in the European Virtual Console version of Super Mario RPG and was kept that way in the remake

In International versions of the original Mario Party, Wario speaks these German words, "So ein Mist!", which is a German expression of disgust, similar to "Oh shoot!" or "No way!". The accurate translation of these words in deemed swearing which is why Nintendo won't translate it. Players do confuse into thinking Wario said "D'oh I missed" which is not accurate. Wario was voiced by a German voice actor named Thomas Spindler in Mario Party 1-2.

South Korea has a very strict censorships. One of them is “Go, Home Luigi” from Super Mario 64 DS as mentioned from this video, and another one of them is from Mario Party DS. In one of Mario Party DS’s boards Bowser’s Pinball Machine, there were two changes where one of them is the jackpot event where it is replaced by UFO catching icon mini game and the other one is changed from the roulette event to a whack-a-mole event. Both of them were replaced to different mini games in South Korea version because casino gambling is illegal in South Korea

NINTENDO DS was my FIRST Nintendo console what I got in my birthday when I was only 6 years old kid and New Super Mario Bros DS was my FIRST Mario game what I've ever played and I remember that Luigi's pokergame and now as an "adult" Mario Gamer I'll think why The Hell there is a POKER minigame in Mario game. But for example, there's always been Poker games and casinos in Mario games like Super Mario Sunshine and other kids games like Sly Cooper where is Casinos what are an adults places where they drinking an alcohol and playing poker with sexy ladies. Is it normal i'm21 years old but NEVER visited in even a Bars/Pubs/Nightclubs but I know those places becauseof a videogames like Sly Cooper Band of Thieves where is Dimitri's Nightclub what is one of GREATEST videogame places and quests because of it's COOLDisco music. And casinos I only seen in Greece's Rhodes not here in Finland but i'll think there is casinos in cities like Helsinki our Prime city. I only drinked alcohol when I was 18 years old but after that over 2 years I haven't dri ked it anympre because don't like beer but it's fun how in kids games there is beer bottles. Because of k18 humor games was BETTER and FUNNIER in old days in my childhood. 😂🎮
