Been working in fashion for 20yrs, as a new Muslim revert, I have to confront stereotype that a Muslim looks a certain way (especially from Christians who try to discredit me as "can't be a real Muslim" because I don't wear the distinguishing 'Muslim clothing'). To me fashion is a form of expression. I feel it's important to be myself, my authentic self. Rather than imitating others in order to please others. The same way I gave up my entire support system, church friends and family I've known my entire life, to be true to myself that Islam is the truth from God. My conviction in my faith suffices. Allah knows our hearts. Never let someone put you down Faith is from the heart.

Zayn Malik isn't muslim anymore. He said himself. Also just by saying your muslim doesn't make you one, it's seen in your practice. You don't have to be covered from head to toe, but you should at least have some level of modesty which I don't see with many of the so called "muslim" celebrities.

She does not respect the religion like it’s her own she acts like she’s a non Muslim who just has a Muslim friend, like the most Muslim thing she’s done is celebrate eid. Obviously she would do that cuz it’s like a party. She claims she’s a Muslim but does she even know one Surah or any duaas, I doubt it. If you don’t know any duaas or surahs you are not Muslim. She is a disgrace to Islam (to me). She is the epitome of a perfect non Muslim. Say what you like but I don’t care if she says a billion times she is Muslim, I won’t believe it unless she actually does something Sunnah or at least Fardh like reading a duaa or idk pray her salaah. The list could go on.
