Dark periods because, our education cannot find or connect or understand that periods. After its entire struggle science cannot explain these periods, certifying Quran authentic. Narrated Zaid bin Thabit Al-Ansari: who was one of those who used to write the Divine Revelation: Abu Bakr sent for me after the (heavy) casualties among the warriors (of the battle) of Yamama (where a great number of Qurra' were killed). `Umar was present with Abu Bakr who said, `Umar has come to me and said, *The people have suffered heavy casualties on the day of (the battle of) Yamama, and I am afraid that there will be more casualties among the Qurra' (those who know the Qur'an by heart) at other battle-fields, whereby a large part of the Qur'an may be lost, unless you collect it.* And I am of the opinion that you should collect the Qur'an." *Abu Bakr added, "I said to `Umar, 'How can I do something which Allah's Apostle has not done?'* `Umar said (to me), 'By Allah, it is (really) a good thing.' So `Umar kept on pressing, trying to persuade me to accept his proposal, till Allah opened my bosom for it and I had the same opinion as `Umar." (Zaid bin Thabit added:) `Umar was sitting with him (Abu Bakr) and was not speaking. me). "You are a wise young man and we do not suspect you (of telling lies or of forgetfulness): and you used to write the Divine Inspiration for Allah's Messenger (ﷺ). *Therefore, look for the Qur'an and collect it (in one manuscript). " By Allah, if he (Abu Bakr) had ordered me to shift one of the mountains (from its place) it would not have been harder for me than what he had ordered me concerning the collection of the Qur'an. I said to both of them, "How dare you do a thing which the Prophet has not done?"* Abu Bakr said, "By Allah, it is (really) a good thing. So I kept on arguing with him about it till Allah opened my bosom for that which He had opened the bosoms of Abu Bakr and `Umar. *So I started locating Qur'anic material and collecting it from parchments, scapula, leaf-stalks of date palms and from the memories of men (who knew it by heart). I found with Khuza`ima two Verses of Surat-at-Tauba which I had not found with anybody else,* (and they were):-- "Verily there has come to you an Apostle (Muhammad) from amongst yourselves. It grieves him that you should receive any injury or difficulty He (Muhammad) is ardently anxious over you (to be rightly guided)" (9.128) The manuscript on which the Qur'an was collected, remained with Abu Bakr till Allah took him unto Him, and then with `Umar till Allah took him unto Him, and finally it remained with Hafsa, `Umar's daughter. Didnt Allah promise to protect the Quran? Thats by the way the Disney-Version of what realy happened. Its even worse: "Many (of the passages) of the Qur'an that were sent down were *known by those who died on the day of Yamama...* but they were *not known (by those who) survived them, nor were they written down,* nor had Abu Bakr, Umar or Uthman (by that time) collected the Qur'an, *nor were they found with even one (person) after them."* - Ibn Abi Dawud, Kitab al-Masahif p. 23 2. *Abu Bakr added, "I said to `Umar, 'How can I do something which Allah's Apostle has not done?'* Obviously Abu Bakr and Zaid bin Thabit thought it was a realy strange idea to collect the Quran, into a book. They had no concept to collect the Quran into a book. But they decided, that its better than losing more of the Quran. 3. *Therefore, look for the Qur'an and collect it (in one manuscript). " By Allah, if he (Abu Bakr) had ordered me to shift one of the mountains (from its place) it would not have been harder for me than what he had ordered me concerning the collection of the Qur'an.* Why had he to look for the Quran to collect it? Wasnt the Quran perfectly memorized by heart by many people? Should it not have been very easy to just write the Quran down, if so many people memorized the Quran perfectly? 4. *So I started locating Qur'anic material and collecting it from parchments, scapula, leaf-stalks of date palms and from the memories of men (who knew it by heart).* Why had he to collect the quranic material from parchments, scapula, leaf-stalks of date palms and the memories of different men if the Quran was perfectly memorized by so many people by heart? Should not Zaid bin Thabit himself have known the Quran by heart anyways? It should have been the easiest thing to write the perfectly memorized Quran down for the Muslims if so many of them memorized the Quran perfectly. The modern muslim narrative is complete nonsense. 5. *I found with Khuza`ima two Verses of Surat-at-Tauba which I had not found with anybody else,* Unlike what Muslims tell us today, Zaid bin Thabit admits, that he could find parts of the Quran only with a particular Muslim. But according to Muslims today, the complete Quran was always memorized perfectly by the hearts of many Muslims.

I've meet people like you who when I tell them something they continue insulting it and I know it's part of life unfortunatly... I can just tell you that: In Muslims religions, after you death you two angels will come and ask you about you're religion, who's god, and also who was the messenger from god, then if you answered correctly, you'll sleep in peace till the judgment day, and if you weren't, then you'll sleep longer then the others (don't want to go in details). In the judgment day, EVERY humans will be asked about there life, how where you whit your parents, what did you did to live and many other questions, we will be guided by our prophet Muhammed, he will be whit us in that. Did good things in life: Heaven Didi Bad things in life: Hell And that's how we believe after death. It makes it hard to distinguish the true religion from the fake ones. Some have went all spiritual on the scale of spirituality. Others have gone all the way to materialism. Only Islam can gather both ends in a harmonic mixture. In Islam, Muslims are to build this earth and make it prosper be it in agriculture, industry, sciences, etc. We are ordered to protect life and property of all people who do not transgress and oppress us. We are ordered that if the day of Judgement comes and one has a plant in his hand to plant it. We are allowed to marry, have children and enjoy life. On the other hand, we are also responsible for our actions and we will be accounted for them. We should always work for the hereafter and wish to please God our creator. Islam is also a whole way of life. It deals with economics. It sets rules for dealings between humans and animals to dealings between humans and humans to rights of neighbors and parents to the relationship between human beings and the creator. Reason 2- In 23 Years, Muslims Went from Being Powerless to Control the World. When Islam started in Mecca, it was the prophet Mohammed by himself. A one man religion. He was exposed to punishments and oppression. The people who first entered Islam were weak and also were oppressed and tortured by the pagans of Mecca (their relatives). Forward 23 years later to see the transformation of these uneducated powerless individuals to the most powerful ones and to control the world. The Arabs at the time of the prophet peace be upon him (6th century) were tribes and clans fighting each other. The Romans and the Persians were vast powerful empires. Forward 23 years later to see how some powerless individuals were able climb the mountain of world power to take over the Persian empire and the Roman empire and introduce new world order. Not only did this transformation achieve miraculousness in its happenings but it’s also marvelous in its timing and its duration. Had it not been to Islam, the world would be different (much worse). The heroes of Islam would not have been heroes but would have been forgotten. Reason 3- The Quran and its Eloquence as a Linguistic Miracle. As the Arabs of that time were so linguistically gifted, a linguistic miracle was fit for the situation. Quran was sent to people who were so eloquent in the Arabic language. If the Quran was not a linguistic miracle, then any of the Arabs and Arab poets in Mekkah (where the prophet peace be upon him stayed for 13 years calling people to worship Allah alone) would come up and say some poetry to challenge the Quran (since the challenge to them was clear) but none was able to challenge the eloquence of the Quran. The miraculousness of the Quran is an axiom to whomever studies Arabic academically. Resons 4: Quran is the Only Book which Has Been Protected from Altercations Whether you are a Muslim or not, one thing all scholars have agreed upon: The Quran has been preserved as it was revealed to the prophet in the 6th century. Copies of the Quran are still available in Tashqand and Cairo. One of the properties of the Muslim Nation is “ISNAD”. Isnad means having narration chains where each person in the narration chain is well known and has his life recorded and studies. The holy Quran has been narrated through narration chains where a large group of narrators who are of very strong memory and minds have narrated the same text from one generation to the next (with the condition of actually meeting each other and listening to each other with no time gaps). This large group of narrators cannot all agree on a lie. The names and the life stories of EACH person is recorded and studied. Each narrator has his whole family recorded. These narrations have agreed with the copies from the Quran. Compare that with the current bible for example where there is no recorded narration chains (without putting the condition of having no time gaps or even having names for those narrators). Compare the Quran with current bible where you have thousands of manuscripts; no two are the same. Compare that with the writers of the bible where you only have one name: John who? Luke who? What is their last name? The Quran has been revealed in Arabic and it’s read in Arabic. For the first time, the people speak the language of the prophet not the other way around. There are translations of the Quran in different languages but the Quran is in Arabic and should be read in Arabic noting that ‘translations of meaning’ is different than a version. The Sunnah or the traditions of the prophet are protected through the same narration chains. That being said; the Quran and the Sunnah have two distinct styles which have never contradicted. (Yusuf Ali) With power and skill did We construct the Firmament: for it is We Who create the vastness of pace. -Sura Adh-Dhariyat, Ayah 47 15) HEAVY CLOUDS The Quran states: “And it is He who sends the winds as good tidings before His mercy until, when they have carried heavy rainclouds . . .” (Surah A’raf, 7:57) “It is He who shows you lightening, [causing] fear and aspiration, and generates the heavy clouds.” (Surah Ra’d, 13:12) Scientific fcat :- Its Recent discovery According to scientists, the weight of the average cumulus cloud is 1.1 million pounds! Think about that for a moment. This means that at any given moment, there are millions of pounds of water floating above your head. That's the equivalent of 100 elephants.

For example, *the sun and moon are on their course around the earth* is not written in the Qur'an. It is *...the sun and moon, each running [its course] for a specified term. ...* And that is true. Miracle refers to something that should have been Impossible, or had an extremely, very extremely low chance of happening, so low that we can't comprehend, but it still happened. It still existed etc How could the Prophet(P.B.U.H) have known about all these things as a Human? Things that weren't discovered for hundreds of years even after that. How could he have known about all of them when he's a Human Himself. There's a limit to how much Knowledge a human brain can hold, yet the Quran tells us about all of those in details. Isn't that a Miracle in itself?

It speaks of clear signs on about every other page, however, I have not seen any. It does contain many man-made myths, apocryphal texts, 7th century ideas and knowledge, but no signs that would make it seem "divine" in any way. It basically says nothing that was not said by humans before. Take 21:30 for example. This was a well known local creation myth. The god Enlil in Sumerian myth did exactly what 21:30 says, here is the translation: “Enlil, lord Nunamnir, the En, his utterance cannot be countered, separated Heaven from Earth, separated Earth from Heaven.” - Krebernik 1998, p. 321, n. 805. Do you think that mythological stories are form the Allah? Do you think that Zeus used to strike people with thunderbolts?

You should thank the god Enlil. Take Quran 21:30 which is claimed to talk about the Big Bang. First, the Earth did not exist at the beginning and second, it cannot be separated from the sky as it's part of the sky (heavens, universe...). The Islamic scholars in the tafsirs make it clear that it did exist but it did not rain on it. However, this was a well known local creation myth. (2/2) So Allah use these verses when he talks about landscape and his blessing towards mankind and others. And he used the word 'spread' not 'flat'. Even if Allah used the word 'flat', we can't say it is contradicting, because actually it feels flat or wide expanse for the person who stand in the surface of earth. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought.” (Quran 13:3) “And after that He spread the earth. He extracted from it its water and its pasture” (Quran 79: 30-31) So the above verses are telling us about the spreading of land or tectonic plate movement and formation of mountains. Quran always says everything in simple way rather than scientific way. So everybody between 7th century to modern era can grasp it clearly and simply. And below are other two verses talks about the blessings that Allah gave us. “[He] who made for you the earth a bed” (Quran 2:22) “(He is) the One who made the earth a cradle for you, and made in it pathways for you to move, and sent down water from the heavens; and We brought forth with it pairs of different vegetations “ (Quran 20:53) Is Quran saying that shape of earth is like bed or cradle? No, Here Allah added "for you". So Allah is telling us about his blessings towards us by metaphorical way. Earth is like a bed or cradle for us, because we can sleeps without any disturbance while the planet earth is rotating in the speed of 1000/mph. We are not actually feeling it, that is soo miraculous creation of the one and only god. Allah knows best. I believe, this article may help those who are open minded. Sceptics may not grasp this because their mindset is like a person who wants DNA test to identify his own parents.

Since every prophet comes with miracles in the field of what his people are professional in, Quran is challenging Arabs in their language. Light travels at a constant speed of 299,792.458 km. per second There are 86,400 seconds in one day (60x60x24) In 24 hours, light travels a distance of 25,902,068,371 km (299,792.458 x 86,400). These two numbers are not the same. They are not even close. There is a difference of 3,081,210,527 km (28,983,278,898 - 25,902,068,371) between the distance traveled by the Moon in 1000 lunar years and the distance traveled by light in one day. This difference is over twenty times the distance between the Earth and the Sun. So clearly Dr. Hassab-Elnaby is in error. The two numbers do not match. That is not all. There is a difference between lunar month (phases) and lunar orbit. The Moon makes a complete orbit around the Earth every 27.3 days, (siderial month) while the periodic variations in the geometry of the Earth-Moon-Sun system are responsible for the lunar phases that repeat every 29.5 days (synodic month). There is a difference of 2.2 days between the lunar month and the lunar orbit. In one lunar year the Moon revolves around the Earth 12.967 times (29.5 x 12 / 27.3) and not 12 times. So the distance that the Moon travels in 1000 lunar years is actually 32, 045,078,461 km (12,967 x 2,4715,273). The difference between this distance and the distance traveled by light in one day is 6,143,010,090 km (32, 045,078,461 - 25,902,068,371). It would take light, another 5 hours 41 minutes to travel this extra distance. Alternatively we can say that the Moon revolves around the Earth 10,724 times to cover the distance that the light travels in 24 hours. (Distance traveled by light in one day 25,902,068,371 km / The orbit of the Moon 2,415,273 km). It takes only 827 lunar years for the Moon to go this distance and not 1000 lunar years. (10,724 revolutions of the Moon around the Earth x 27.3 days that takes for each revolution / 354 days that exist in each lunar year). No matter how you look at it Dr. Hassab-Elnaby's calculations are wrong. The distance traveled by the Moon in 1000 years and the distance traveled by light in one day are not the same. We are not even considering the orbit of the Earth around the Sun, which inevitably the Moon must also tread. Taking that into account Dr. Hassab-Elnabi's calculations are 36.6 times off.

Unfortunately, the video leaves out historical facts and the person does not know much science. Take 21:30 for example - this was a well known local man-made creation myth that was around at the time. The video doesn't mention this, and that Sumerian texts say: “Enlil, lord Nunamnir, the En, his utterance cannot be countered, separated Heaven from Earth, separated Earth from Heaven.” - Krebernik 1998, p. 321, n. 805. This verse (and the myth) are of course wrong because the Earth did not exist at the time of creation and you cannot separate the Earth from the heaven as it is part of the heaven (sky/universe). In 2:29 the order of creation is wrong, because the heavens need to be made first, before galaxies, stars and planets can form. The verse makes no sense.

Which miracle? The things mentioned in the Quran were known long before. Many local stories and myths found their way into the Quran, like the creation myths, seven heavens idea, the Seven Sleepers tale etc. Most of the "scientific" things mentioned are not correct if you know a bit of science.

You can easily find cultures that held this view, which the Quran simply adopts. If Uranus was visible, the Quran would talk of 8 heavens :) To see that this is what the Quran is talking about, some ancient people worshipped the motion of these objects and went around their shrines seven times in the counterclockwise direction (same direction as the objects move in the sky wrt stars). This was common in Yemen for example, and Muhammad adopted this pagan practice which is why Muslims go around the Kaaba seven times in counterclockwise direction (and the Kaaba has a Yemeni corner). The Seven Sleepers (of Ephesus) is a well known late-Christian myth. Have you not looked into it? The Quran mentions this legend several times, with different details. What about the late-Christian infancy gospels which the Quran borrows stories about Jesus as a baby? No historian thinks that these are authentic or historical, yet the stories were popular in the region and have been adopted into the Quran. Anyhow, I hope you can do some reading yourself.

You do not have to just be an expert at arabic, also in islam, to be able to understand. For example the word "days" in the quran describes at least 4 different meaning, maybe even more, i do not rly remember. An arabic scholar would not have known that.

It's interesting also that the verses that talk about the Sun and Moon moving talk about them in terms of day and night, making it pretty clear that they believed that the Sun went around the Earth. Muslims of course try to rescue these verses by saying that they are talking about the Sun moving around the center of our galaxy (which takes ~250 million years, and has nothing to do with day and night...).

I have studied science and read the Quran several times and do not see anything that was not known at the time. The video does not mention that the Quran borrows from local man-made creation myths. For example, if you read the Sumerian creation story you'll see it is found in 21:30: “Enlil, lord Nunamnir, the En, his utterance cannot be countered, separated Heaven from Earth, separated Earth from Heaven.” - Krebernik 1998, p. 321, n. 805. This verse (and the myth) are of course wrong because the Earth did not exist at the time of creation and you cannot separate the Earth from the heaven as it is part of the heaven (sky/universe). It also borrows the idea of seven heavens, again not mentioned in this video. This was a very common cosmological view in MANY ancient cultures because of the seven objects that moved in the sky - they were each thought to have a celestial sphere or "heaven". The Quran simply adopts this idea, as it was around at the time. If Uranus was visible, the Quran would talk of 8 heavens :) Here you can see descriptions of this idea in many cultures: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seven_Heavens To see that this is what the Quran is in fact talking about, some ancient people worshiped the motion of these objects and went around their shrines seven times in the counterclockwise direction (same direction as the objects move in the sky wrt stars). This was common in Yemen for example, and Muhammad adopted this practice which is why Muslims go around the Kaaba seven times in counterclockwise direction (and the Kaaba has a Yemeni corner).
