Please bring the carnivores challenges back I have one already. It’s the “Not Triassic Challenge” for Carnivores Triassic You must hunt Edaphosaurus, Scutosaurus, Estomentosuchus, Gorgonops, and Megalosaurus. Gojirasaurus is optional, and you must hunt on Tatem Wastes

You make a strong point there.

Surprisingly the Mandibles mod jumps out at me exclusively, the concept of enormous insects and creepy crawlies is a refreshing idea to the Carnivores franchise, wish I'd known about it sooner. In a way they are carnivores when it comes down to it, eating other insects and sometimes their own species even, so ideally it make sense

It actualy entertained me a lot when quarantines and local lockdowns were a thing

I have to say my favorite would be The Middle Islands. Then again I'm very partial to the Todd Marshall style of designs. I have all of these mods though, and I highly recommend them as well! There's no way I'll be bored during Quarantine~

Nice vid as always Saurian! Thank you for introducing the "Carnivores-Lost", the nighttime hunting is so immersive, I play for the 1st time and I loved it, I noticed the Lost can only play on the Software mode, so what I did, I copy a new folder of Carnivores 2, rename it Carnivores Lost, transfer the maps and dinosaur models from Lost, into this new folder and viola! It works!!!

Triassic was the first major mod like that? Holy cow, that thing is so polished I consider it cannon to the series.

Hey I was just wondering if you could explain the graphical issues I’ve been having. Basically the game seems laggy, the ground seems to move around beneath my feet and water just looks like the sky. I really want to play these mods but this is a common issue

I tried to download the carnivores Triassic mod but i don't know how to extract the file from winzip

Sorry to comment on your older video Saurian but I downloaded Mandibles, Middle islands, Triassic, Genesis, JPRevolution and Carnivores + but only 2 of the mods work, Triassic and Revolution. I did watch how to download and play them but for some reason, Triassic allows me to play it in the file but if I put it on desktop it couldn't read the "_RE.TXT" file same with the rest of the mods. Revolution works cause its required to install into the PC. So, what should I do about the computer being unable to read the "RE.TXT" file?

I have some really weird mod ideas in my head such as a mod that has you hunting underwater with creatures that's model is elevated above the ground and the trophy room being a boat. and a mod that is made only for observer mode and is made to be a safari park type game

JP Hunter Legends doesn’t have 90 dinosaurs (V1 or V2), and the Moddb pages for the DLCs say they’re coming in a year. How do I get the version with 90 dinosaurs? (If you include DLC in there then I can’t even play with the dinos I want)

Nice video as always, I am pretty new to all of this, I only started playing Carnivores and these mods today. I got the Mandibles and Triassic one, but I noticed that the creatures there are extremely skittish. I mean, that's kind to be expected, but it seem like they all see you coming from way more far away than in the normal Carnivores 2 or even in mods like JPH, where the dinosaurs are still skittish, but don't start running away at top speeds that you can't catch up to just to run into the ocean or edges of the map that you can't reach like the creatures in Triassic or Mandibles do. What can I change in the files to fix that? It is really frustrating to not be able to even get one creature because they see you coming when you are at the other end of the map

Go into options, and bring the aggression and sensitivity sliders down.

I don't think the mod creator thinks very highly of them anymore. Last I heard he's working on newer, better mods.

Hey Saurian, my game and mods keep minimising every few seconds I'm in game, and I can't seem to fix it no matter what compatibility options I set them to, or ingame option adjustments. I'm sure the fix is really simple. I feel like a right fool having to ask. The games used to work fine in the past :/ Don't suppose you know how to resolve this? Cheers dude.

Strafing. You can assign strafe keys to dodge attacking animals. Something the mobile ports unfortunately don't let you do.

You're running the mod in Software mode. You need to go to the Options menu and change the video drivers to something other than Software.
