If you like electric motorcycles just buy an e bike. Cheaper and will actually do what you need it to do. Electric motorcycles are garbage.

I have an ebike. I enjoy riding it. It is a lot of fun. But, it will not do everything I want it to do. Unfortunately, it will not do a safe speed on I-29 or I-90 around where I live. Yes, a gas motorcycle will do that. But, I am tired of buying gas. Been doing it for over 40 years all in all. Its time to move on. If people do not buy electric motorcycles, they will always be junk. Harleys went through a period of time where they were junk. Drip pans under a bike on the showroom floor. If people didnt buy them to give the factory feedback, and money to work with, they'd be a thing of the past. All new things need advancements and improvements. But electric motorcycles will happen. With a lot less of the problems seen in electric cars. I drive a truck. And every time I am in a traffic jam, and I look around and see hundreds of cars with only one person in them, I wish most of them were on a motorcycle. Wouldnt even be a traffic jam if that were the case. Our overcrowded roads in America need to embrace motorcycles. And the ease of operating an electric motorcycle will make them more attractive to a lot larger number of people.

@@edswope28 Harley is still junk. Overpriced and underpowered to deliver an image to boomers that want to pretend they’re rebels. Motorcycles are not a viable option for batteries due to the fact that they weigh so much, and aerodynamics on a bike are compromised by the rider. Most e-motorcycles only have a range of 90 miles with any type of highway involved - ignoring the fact that most riders want to do some spirited riding… …which therein lies the crux of the issue for 95% of American motorcyclists. EV bikes are purely utility of getting from point A to B. American motorcyclists want to take the long route and go on the curvy roads. They don’t want to have their ride end in 45 miles (45 needed to get back home) All that to say - e motorcycles are garbage that lack range, are too heavy, and are too limited for what an American market wants to do with motorcycles.
