2022 was a groundbreaking year and was amazing

I said it before and once again I'll say it Logan Paul's WWE coming out party was his match with Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel 2022. He literally showed why he should be in the wrestling ring. Imo that's where he shut up the critics. And credit to Roman also carrying the match too and Logan holding his own. One of the best matches I've ever seen and one of the best matches of all time

Theory should’ve had a failed cash in at Clash at the Castle. He could’ve eaten the pin, and keep McIntyre strong against Reigns. It also would’ve used the MITB properly

I feel if Cody didn’t have the torn pec, Sheamus v Gunther would of been #1

My wife and I have a term when something won't get worse, but it'll hurt, we call it a Cody Rhodes situation, that's what the doctors told him, he could do the match and it wouldn't damage his pec furthermore, but it was going to hurt

My favourite match of 2022 and what I think is the best match of 2022 was Drew McIntyre vs Roman Reigns at Clash at the Castle 2022. They had put on one banger and a well paced 5 star classic. Yes Wales isn't Drew's hometown but the UK crowd was super behind him winning and the they were booing Roman Reigns all the way through. Making a compelling good guy vs bad guy match. It also had Solo Sikoa's main roster debut and Drew's theme song return of Broken Dreams. It was also at Clash at the Castle 2022. One of the best PLE's ever. The crowd was hot all the way through not dying at any point and it made every match in the card a banger.

Fact that only Rhodes vs Rollins match on the list is the HIAC one shows how many good matches we get that year

I have no issue admitting I was never really a fan of Cody Rhodes, but goddamn did the match at Hell In A Cell 2022 against Seth Rollins do the job! Cody Rhodes officially became my guy after that night.

Being there live in Chicago for Seth/Cody HIAC, YEAH, that match was just fucking amazing. Hat's off to the two for the match and Cody for being a mad bastard for even still doing it.

honestly i'm fine with Austin Theory cashing in on the united states champion. but he a) shouldn't have lost and b) shouldn't have done it during an open challenge. especially if he was just going to win later anyway!

I didn't mind Theory cashing in on the US title, obviously him losing wasn't a great call. But I actually really want to see the mitb used for things other than the big gold. It makes sense most of the time, but can't Xavier Woods win it and cash in for the tag belts with Kofi? That'd be cool and different

Stone cold vs Kevin Owens wil always had a special place in my heart.
