It's like that in Bedrock edition. It should work fine on Java edition. He is playing on Bedrock though...

i do the 2x2 redstone elevator on bedrock and whenever i make this it works for a second then goes back down and up and down and up and just loops how do i fix this?? i did it the exact same way
