@@garygrant91 Uranus 9 is partially autonomous and has an autopilot. It can move completely independently from point A to point B. His weapon is controlled only by a person, but work on automation is already underway. The robot is already being taught to distinguish Russian soldiers from the military of other countries and terrorists. The robot will already distinguish the weapons and clothing of the soldiers, and also remotely scan the language in which they communicate.

I missed the thumbnail but have seen 3 of these in person including the Estonian/US joint robotic assault vehicle. It’s insane, scary as shit honestly . It’s virtually silent, it uses Infrared , motion, sound sensors for target location , as well as GPS so it can send enemy location data to other sensors like an F35 20 miles out or it can Laze that target for an in our ladder guided missile. The .50 cal sniper platform was more accurate than the expert Marine sniper that would take the same shots . The difference being once the sensors locked the target it could fire while moving or move around and keep that target locked to fire again. It shot 20 rounds that hit within a 4 inch spread from accross the valley and within 10 seconds . The human couldn’t compete . The sniper has to calculate each shot , a ton of data , elevation, windage, earths rotation etc , the robot it’s all calculated constantly and in a fraction of a second and applied to each shot by adjusting the barrels aim prior to firing . The operator looking at the screen in a van doesn’t see the adjusted aim. He jsut puts the crosshairs on the target and lets the computer adjust for everything else. I’m telling you , it had the Estonia soldiers, command and especially the sniper visually shook. Talk from soldiers saying if they were comming against a couple of these they’d go awol and smartly do. Infrared in an Estonian winter a human being will light up like the sun on a screen . And with a 40% further range , an ability to get enemy positions from a Predator drone above and then fire consecutive shots at 5 different targets in a valley in less than 10 seconds one after another before the echo was heard its terrifying . There is NO competition. An enemy would have to try to get within range using a javelin or something like that , but with a battlefield being constantly mapped out by predator drones about and out of site , or an F35, c130, Apache longbow , etc, there’s no hiding. A test with 20 men taking defensive sniper Positions on a valley floor and mountainside was tested to see how this would work and accuracy etc. WITHOUT the drone above, the sensors were able to locate several witching seconds jsut with the IR . With the drones data , all 20 were located pinpointed , and data sent to the operators instantly . When given the signal all 20 got up and left behind a post and target where they were , then the pilot fired , 20 rounds fired in 48 seconds and 20 targets hit within 2 inches of bullseye from an average of 600 yards . 100% accuracy, and yes once one shot rang off they the others could run, but would they? They wouldn’t know where it came from , surely the enemy hasn’t seen them , I’m laying hidden in the snow, I’ll stay right here . Dead or get up to move and the movement and IR sensors above and on the vehicle pick you up even faster . There truly is no competition. I know the US and Nato forces want to get a couple of these platforms chosen and dedicated, contracts signed and get a ton of these out to forces in Estonia. Poland, Ukraine, Germany and should an invasion form a certain country in the East come, the defensive accuracy of these forces will be truly terrifying to an advancing enemy.

Since the beginning of this month, I no longer have French translations. . . 😔 Why don't you make vehicles to protect the Tanks, when you see the prices like the Leclerc tank, it would be interesting to have robots that can communicate with each other, that can provide various protections on the tanks. As the naval levels, it could avoid building large submarines for it if you want to know you can call me Depuis le début de ce Mois, je n'ai plus les traduction Françaises . . .

You did!!! And this is absolutely one of the contract winners and going to do a lot for your country, I’ve seen this one operate in sniper configuration in winter and it was the most amazing thing I’ve seen! Absolutely destroyed everything with unreal accuracy . It’s multisensor application was unbelievable! The US Army will purchase a massive number of these and it will put that money into your economy to grow the company to produce more, your Estonian military will then be able to purchase/build 1 for your own army per so many purchased by the US, you Army will be one of the first in the world aside form US to have these and I’m telling you, Russia won’t step foot near your borders with a few of these around let alone a large number. You don’t have tanks and aircraft but with these your won’t need any of it however the growth your county will see with this contract will allot you to purchase other vehicles but I’ll bet there is a deal worked for the trade or allocation of US equipment , especially ones we are phasing our, the Abrams tank ya been eliminated by the Marines completely , the Blackhawk will be replaced by the contest winner in the next couple years, F18 Hornet is in its way out , you’ll be able to purchase with the billions made in these robotic assault Weapons. I had no idea Estonian was capable of producing such an AMAZING weapon , SO refined , flawless finish , software and sensors weee insane and the sniper module was unbelievable! Congrats! And I’d say go get a job at this company doing anything g you can!!!! Because they are going to be growing insanely quick !

I think he got that info from the demo material, almost all of these the weapon platform is modular and they have different modules they can swap to per mission, all have a sniper rifle module, an assualt module with usually is some sort of GAU minigun, and a rocket module among others . He probably read off and wrote down the first thing in the report but yes should have looked and changed but all of these have at least 3 modules for 3 missions plus a empty slot for gear transport or wounded transport . (Well all thst are competing for contracts with the US Army have those 5 missions/modules . ) I don’t know about the rest. I saw the Estonian /US joint robotic assault platform in sniper configuration so it’s thing and it scared the shut out of everyone. Unreal!

Why aren't any of these robots piloted? And why wasn't the 4 legged one from the preview image on this list?

Think they would be better served by creating three different robots for operation, outside EOD. one sized for close range combat, primarily clearing hostile buildings. one sized larger than 3 to 4 times the overall volume of an ATV. Faster speed than full sized vehicle. Remote controlled weapon station at front with minimum of one personnel as well as rear space for mission supplies. Driver can continue to control the unit manually, or dismount with control systems. one sized for anti-armored vehicle (with anti-tank capabilities).

When you look at the first tank, why is was made and what was done to improve its afflictions, as the first computer was made, we have come forward leaps and bounds, just like the tank most things have been made by the brain. Better armor more and better precision guided weapons. The only differences in 1600 b.c and the ability to be a successful with a mounted horse or a war elephant was the brain. These machines will only do as ordered or told, the only difference is going to be The modifications on such A.I depending on such roll.. the operator and or commands from a higher source. The only thing eventually that can be programmed better is the brain ?

I'll start worrying about robotic fighting vehicles when they invent one that can clear its own machine gun stoppages, until then it's too vulnerable, too expensive and liable to theft.
