to be precise. bigbang only "invented" the lightstick unique design in kpop. lightstick culture itself was invented in japan with jpop much earlier. with the Wotagei(light stick dance to cheer on the groups) culture and AKB48 in akihabara. So the lightstick origin is actually from Jpop. But Bigbang commercialized it and made the designs more unique.

Exo's lighstick looks very Elegant. It's silver white, bright, clean, simple yet classy. I donno , it somewhat felt like you owned an luxurious item. The design represents the group identity really well (logo). I saw some fans design it on their own with flowers & stuff. They be creative with it & it's so beautiful. Fun fact: exo's light sticks was the first one that create colour changing ocean (bluetooth) on concerts back in 2017. Since then, this idea have been spread widely & it's become a norm in K-Pop concerts like what you see today.

Actually something that you left out about the moobong is that besides being an inside joke, the lightstick also vibrates for fans that are hard of hearing. It pulses and vibrates to the beat of their songs so that even fans who have difficulties hearing can enjoy the music as much as everyone else. As an EXOL, I really like exo, blackpink, shinee and bigbangs lightsticks. I like the shape of those lightsticks cuz they are unique. Like crown for bigbangs because they are kings while hexagon for exo because thats their logo which I think is very creative and witty. I also like the color cause it distinguish them from other groups like black and pink for bp and pearl aqua for shinee. Their lightstick don't look like toys. It don't have a very akward look and it is not the same as other group's lightstick. Their lightstick ate very simple but it is very unique and those lightstick actually help you to know from what fandom you. It really represent the group. :))

Carat bong is so aesthetic! Version one is simple but very pretty (and iconic too). Before I can't imagine if they'll make version 2, how they will beautify it to upgrade it? It's already beautiful. But wow they made it even gorgeous! The colors are cute too. It more looks like a gg lightstick, unique for a bg like them to have this style of ligthstick.

I have always been of the opinion that Seventeen (along with Astro) are the most aesthetically pleasing bg in kpop, both in fan colors, fandom names, mv designs, concepts, album designs and about anything, and I honestly think the lightstick just supports my opinion

Yeah, I was a bit shocked when I learned about it too a few months back. I am not sure why people call it by the official name in videos like this because it ends up causing more confusion than anything. Eribong is it's rightful name, and I think it is one of the cutest lightstick names in Kpop, actually.

Mamamoo's lightstick is amazing. Everything it is symbolizes the connection between them and moomoos.

EXO's eribong just represents EXO perfectly. Its design is so elegant. Not your usual lightstick which is most of the time in round shape. It was designed by EXO's Chanyeol. The first lightstick in Kpop which used Bluetooth for color and music coordination. It makes exols concert experience 100% better. Eribongs can be lighted up according to your country's flag colors which is very mesmerizing and special in concert tours. Very handy and easy to be customized. Probably one of the brightest lightsticks I ever seen in Kpop. (alongside with Caratbong) And most of all everything EXO has, EXOLS are always given a credit and that includes our lightstick ❤️

Eribong itself is majestic, simple, and sophisticated and then the music changes at 5:39, it feels like the description became more elegant and appreciated. Hands down to the creator of the video, to EXO and EXO-Ls!

I really, really love my Eribong. I was glad that EXO had such a simple but very elegant and classy lightstick. It is pretty enough on it's own, but it also lends itself well to customization, if so desired. Another thing I really like about it is how solid and comfortable it is to hold. I have seen some fairly cheaply made looking lightsticks, and I was so glad when I got my Eribong and found out it was good quality. Finally, the most important thing I love about it. It is easily one of the most easily recognizable lightsticks when lit or unlit, and when there is a whole stadium full of these beauties bopping around...it is magical!

I’ve been to EXO Exploration concert and loved how the eribong lit with our country flag. And i found out that it was the same thing as the other countries that they visited for the concert.

Apink's Panda bong is very cute and pretty. Exo's lightstick is really elegant and beautiful as well...who am I kidding ALL LIGHTSTICK CREATED ARE BEAUTIFULY MADE. They have different functions and parts that make them unique and I love it! ❤️

Exo's lightstick is just like them..elegant and classy..like it makes you feel a classy feeling..it's not round in shape like others and it has a definite shape with white as it's main color..when you watch it from far it seems like an ocean of stars..mainly concentrating towards the concept of space system!

i really really love the two versions of carat bongs! they're so pretty and the carats are so creative!

My favorite lightstick CaratBong and Lightiny . The most aesthetic lightstick I've ever seen 😭
