Okay, as an owner of the boosted, I can now confidently say that this video is BS. If the boosted Rev was actually "tested" they would know that in the most efficient mode (mode 1), max .. MAX range would be less than 15 miles. Putting it in Mode 3, max range of 5 miles. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love my Boosted Rev, I no longer trust companies and videos like this that say they're "tested" when all they did was pull numbers off the website to make this video. If you're looking at buying an electric scooter, do more research and look up range tests for those scooters before investing a thousand or more into one of these.

My emove last 60-70 miles (180lb rider) gear 1, nine bot max on drive mode last at most 12-15 miles and has advertised 40.4 Miles. Complete bs

I love my Kaabo Mantis (base). It's fast and a lot lighter than some of these monster scooters. I used it to commute and ride between 25 and 35mph. Any speed faster is scary and not very practical in the city (SF), or in traffic. It has a lot of torques that gets me away from unhappy drivers ... and angry bicyclists. It has no issue climbing those San Francisco hills with two motors (AWD). Update: I switched to an electric skateboard for commuting and opted for an ExWay Flex Riot (belt drive) with 120mm cloud wheels. The eBoard is much smaller and easier to handle on public transportation (Muni, BART, CalTrain, etc.) but I have to wear more safety gears in addition to my helmet. I found that I prefer the Kaabo Mantis scooter over the ExWay simply b'cuz I feel a little safer riding the eScooter over the eBoard. In addition, the fun loving liberals I share the roads with seen to hate the guy on an eBoard more than the same guy riding an eScooter. I am sure I would be more comfortable on the eBoard as I spend more time on it but as far as commuting on the street of SF ... I will take my Kaabo instead of the ExWay.

My first eScooter b4 I upgraded to the Kaabo Mantis was the original Xiaomi M365 Pro. I modified it to remove the maximum speed limit restriction (free), front suspension ($65), and 10" tires ($40). I still have it and prefer to ride this over the Kaabo Mantis, or my ExWay Flex Riot eBoard if I don't have to climb hills. It's much lighter to carry and handle on public transportation. It sat permanently in my EV for use when I need to go somewhere while my EV is being charged at a public charge station.

It depends on your mission. I ride my M365 pro when I need to run errands where there is no hills to climb like pickup something at the local market or drop-off packages at the post office. My mission is to save time doing these errands and I can walk 4mph or ride the M365 pro at 25mph. Again, I would take my Kaabo Mantis when I go across town where I have to climb hills and deal with traffic. You would need more power to get away from them angry drivers and bicyclists.

The Unagi looks interesting. Longer battery life for distance would be good. I think it will happen. Maybe by the time my GoTrax needs replacement. For now it will do.

Nice, but its range is low for the price point

I bought a GoTrax G3 (WalMart $398) I was impressed for all of 2.4 miles. I rode the bumpy cobblestone streets and it handled it nicely. I'm 6 1 and 220lbs and I had no issue getting up to 15.4mph. My only complaint comes from the sudden realization that it has disc brakes for stopping. They stop....but they're also the reason my ride was over at 2.4 miles. I was curving a left, banking it pretty lightly but ended up dropping into a small pothole. It ride through fine but it bottomed out enough to tag the exposed disc. That impact caused a warp that reduces my too speed to 13.2mph (rub... rub...rub...rub) as the warped disc rotated through the caliper. I also couldn't walk it because the wheel woukd drag as the warp got caught in the caliper I the HAD to power it to get through the warp. Drum brake....would've saved the scooter 🛴

Probably clip the wire with some toenail clippers before you could get the screws off 😀. Not the most secure, but sometimes something is better then nothing.

I would really like to see more scooters in the 25lb weight range. I’m very small and for those of us in urban areas, these 40lb scooters are too heavy to carry up and down subway stairs. When a man says “light and easy to carry” my reaction is for whom? Maybe you need to get more women to do reviews.

When you do review, could you please specify numbers in km and kilograms too, unless the review is aimed only for USA people.

Buy the fastest one that has motors front and rear and suspension. Put extra batteries in a back pack or wear them on a belt. Plug the extra batteries in and go 100 miles, or more.

U know how fast 50 speed is on a non durability 2 wheel scooter?

I live in Vegas PLEASE come to Vegas and race me! Lay down $100 and I will too. NO CARS ALLOWED!! Film it! I will too! Don't crash! Bonneville to Gass street, 6th street to 9th street late at night full lights!! = circle course! 9th street gets a bit bumpy so be prepared! Slow or stop for a few stop signs!
