U can add adjustment layer in finial cut, it is a free online download

Lumafusion does the same thing you can copy all your attributes onto your clips that’s why I use that on my iPad I don’t know if my 2020 MacBook Air could even run final cut X

Nice. Never tried Lumafusion myself actually.
Video editor programs are complex and time consuming. Once you have learned one it is very difficult for another to overwhelm. I use Shotcut

Totally get it. And just like gear it also depends on what you want to do, where it is going to be used, how much time you have available and budget. We use Adobe Premier too but I personally feel I can do things faster in FCPX. My personal preference.
