I still can't believe that she was caught ON FILM groping and making out with her 'friend' while he was passed out drunk, and she somehow thought that the best way to apologize for that was to dance to a song with the words "I want to kiss a thousand boys", and "I did nothing wrong, I'm young". Easily the most tone deaf, batshit insane thing I've ever seen. I'm not even sure if she ever actually apologized for her actions; I think the closest she ever got was saying something about how she was sorry for having 'loved him so much' or something fucked up like that. I just generally hate influencers as a genre, but I really do hope Jack Wright is doing okay these days. Poor guy's been through hell.

So I guess the ranking is less about what they were apologizing for and more about "What if any of these people used this method to apologize for what they did? Which would be worse?"

Not justifying shitty apologies, but what tends to sabotage these apologies in the first place is the pressure to perform from these KZreadrs. They’ve got a brand and an audience with certain expectations, so if they feel like they’re not being “convincing” enough, no one will believe them or take their apology seriously. Again, none of these people were genuine in their apologies, but it’s a trap that I see even from people who are being genuine. Everything about social media is about performance, which puts undue pressure on something that should be simple and straightforward. A simple statement that says “I’m sorry” is no longer enough for people.

Well you got the pressure from the internet to take into account like the individual above me said and pressure makes even rational people fuck up. But, people even when they know for a fact they did wrong or so miniscule that it shouldn't even be a problem to admit fault, it's still surprising difficult to admit wrong doing.

Depending on what happens after Sunny's LATEST video, he may have to add himself to the list in the future

Even less than half can have a big impact if the total number is big enough.

Even MrBeast came out and criticised SunnyV2 for that presumptuous statement which means he saw it that way too. Just seems like if Sunny wanted to make that point, he should have been more forthcoming in his title. As is it seems like he allowed that misinterpretation on purpose for rage clicks.

They sued pokemon over Pocket "Monsters" too. Pokemon existed before monster energy and rarely ever call them pocket monsters. That's like McDonald's trying to sue for "Clown" and goes after DC's Joker.

I think Austin Jones should have been on this list. He basically pulled out all the "To Catch A Predator" trademarks in his video, in which he was apologizing for asking underage fans for twerking videos so he stroke his salami to them.

I think the reason why a lot of these excuses are so bad is because the people making them aren't sorry they did what they're apologizing for, and don't think they have anything to apologize for. That's why so many of them sound pissed off and/or like they are reading off cue cards.

The thing about the Ricegum codes being used is that they were already redeemed months before the apology vid, so He knowingly gave away redeemed gift codes to fake a giveaway.

@rayejwonderland-3617 It was straight up. He apologized, didn't point fingers, or put the blame on anyone. He didn't pretend to cry or have a puppy in the video. Made some solid points, and that was it. He had also explained in the video that steroids were something recent and it was prescribed by a doctor. Which is completely normal for middle-aged men trying to build muscle.

They definitely help, but there's still tons of hard work and exercise you need to do consistently get to that point He also explained that the steroids were prescribed for him "recently" by a doctor and helped him maintain his physic and didn't help him obtain them. He wasn't defense at all any clearly explained that fell into peer pressure.

Sienna Mae saying that being off social media is the most difficult thing in her life, I’m fucking sorry. No matter if you are a guy or a girl, I don’t care… if you commit literal SA, you deserve to go to prison. The fact that there are people who simp to girls that have done wrong things and do not do anything because they may hurt them is disgusting of the highest order. They should also be put to jail too. However, don’t trust my words since I can be a hypocrite sometimes to my own statements.
