My most current console generations I own are the PlayStation 3 and the WiiU. So I'm playing a lot of both in 2022😂. When I was ready to upgrade the frickin pandemic happened and well we all see how that's still playing out with current gen consoles being available.

@@aceassn716 I'm wanting to upgrade but honestly right now there is probably only about 10-15 games I'm really jonesing to play on the current gen stuff. The Re remakes 2&3, terminator, Arkham knight, the TMNT games, Sonic mania, Castlevania collection and a few others. Otherwise I'm in no hurry. Even bought a couple games for cheap already so I'll have them when day 1.

Just picked up a ps4 for 100 2 days ago sold it for 225 yesterday

There it is ; the long awaited PS3 video (by far my favorite console) I feel the PS3 is hitting this sweet spot where it's old enough to be nostalgic but new enough to have gorgeous graphics Better were the days when we would just hang around with beer and snacks playing some local split screen games and not have to worry about any internet issues I couldn't recommend it enough even in 2022 and beyond : I mean the exclusives, almost every third party franchise, the PS Move and hey I recently got a Sharpshooter and I'm having a blast with it

Gotta say that Tiger Woods still gets a lot of play on my PS3. Miss that franchise. I really enjoy the racing library on the PS3 as well. Love Blur and Split Second. I also play through Brutal Legend every once and a while. Love that game.

I just got back into playing ps3. Ive had at least 3 ps3s so far. My first ps3 was a slim then a super slim then a og original one but ti failed due to reading discs. I recently bought a slim and Im having fun playing it. Ive been playing w@w and other cods and having a blast. I love how far u guys came. I remember subscribing to u guys at like 1 to 2k subs and to see ur growth is amazing.

PS3 is my favorite modern retro console. When I started collecting games again in 2020 right before the pandemic I chose PS3 because the games at the time were dirt cheap and I managed to get a collection of about 400 PS3 games and I s*** you not about a week after I considered myself finished collecting PS3 Sony did that store closing scare and the price of games skyrocketed. Then when they backtracked the games came down a little bit but most of them are stuck around retail price now between 40 and 70 bucks and it doesn't look like they're going down anytime soon. I also managed to grab most of the PS3 accessories like the move controller and attachment and the camera and some of the gun attachments for the light gun games. I've got a pretty badass PS3 collection thank God I got them now because they're super expensive. But great video great choices and I'm digging the sponsor. I always wondered where the heck you guys get those awesome t-shirts!

Another great video! I might sound like a broken record, but you gotta play House of the Dead 4 with the SharpShooter attachments if you haven't already. The shotgun reload mechanic is just so awesome in that game! Makes it so much more immersive! Really wish that setup got House of the Dead Scarlet Dawn (heck, even that Luigi's Mansion arcade on-rails shooter would've been cool too!)

House of the Dead 4 was the ONLY reason I bought a PS3 from Ebay last year, when I found that the only way I could play it is on this console, plus I got move controllers and a 3rd party gun to slide the move controller into... WORTH IT!

Great console. I still play Twisted Metal to this day. Still optimistic for a next installment in the series but who knows. Its one of the few consoles I keep displayed ready to play at a moments notice. Lots of nostalgia for this system and the Gamecube. Great video as always guys! I saw your recent livestream playing COD World at War Nazi Zombies. Although the zombie modes in any of the COD games can become tiring after a while, they are addicting as hell. I’ve recently been replaying the campaign for COD Black Ops 1 and the Pentagon zombie mode level nonstop on my PS3. I look forward to seeing you guys play other COD zombie modes in the future. Also, you mentioned in the livestream about a KZreadr declaring Madden 08 on the GameCube as the last great Madden game. That’s the channel SoftDrinkTV in case you forgot. He’s posted some great videos over the past couple of years about the fall of the Madden series, retrospectives on classic Madden and other NFL games, as well as reviewing sports games in general. Vanquish, Motorstorm Pacific Rift, Journey, Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3, Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection, the Bioshock and Mass Effect series, XCOM: Enemy Within, and Arkham City are the ones I still play the most. @@GamingOffTheGrid ya had it as a digital only game for years but when i found out it was available on disc a few years ago when i went on a ps move compatible hoard, i picked up to have on disc too. Fully recommend u use the dualshock/six axis though, move controls oddly enough are far less fun. Holding the controller in such an unorthodox way is crazy but feels way more like real bowling and works awesome. Have fun brotha!

World at war was my favorite cod . Was so fun. Hours and hours and hours poured into zombies with the boys

Every choice made here is gold! I love all those games, Hard Corps Uprising is never talked about. HOD4!! I bought the whole PS Move setup a year ago just for this game and RE Umbrella/Darkside Chronicles. COD WAW is my favorite COD game, and I also love NFL Blitz 2012 ver and Siren Blood Curse. There's also Doom Classic collection and SF2 HD Remix as well.

Awesome picks as always fellas. Hard Corp: Uprising and NBA Jam: On Fire Editon are two of my favorites, along with any House of the Dead of course. Weird they didn't put Contra in front of the Hard Corp game since it's a prequel to the Genesis Hard Corp. Also for any of your fans that might not have a ps3 both Hard Corp and NBA Jam are backwards compatible on Xbox, which is how I play them. Not only is Sly awesome, the ps3 has so many amazing collection discs. The Splinter Cell Trilogy, The Prince of Persia Trilogy, The Jak & Daxter Trilogy, etc. Cheers fellas!

Awesome list dudes! I was a 360 guy as well but I’ll be lying if I say I don’t still go back and play on the ps3 with its awesome library. Heck I still find people online in a couple of games I play and since online was free during the ps3 era I can understand why. One thing I still appreciate about the fat ps3 is the REAL physical backwards compatibility of ps2 and ps1 games where I can play the entire library of both games and not that fake backwards compatibility that they are pushing now with the current gen consoles where you really can only play physical games from the current gen (Xbox series X let’s you play some 360 and Xbox games physically but it’s a select few and you still need to install the game on the internal hardrive which is dumb and the ps5 backwards compatibility sucks). Anyways ps3 rocks!

I miss my 80gb PS3 (she died one day and wouldn't load). I loved the Armored Core games on it. I miss Black Ops 2, Metal Gear Solid 4, Lost Planet 1 and 2, Devil May Cry and a whole slew of indie games that I bought for it and many other games I forgot to mention.

If it's an issue with the HDD it's pretty easy to swap out the old one. I upgraded my PS3 HDD when my laptop died, and never had an issue. The PS3 will simply set it up for you and it's good to go. You might need to buy a carriage for the HDD but that literally costs about $5 from Amazon or Ebay.

some times i plug the ps3 back to play RIDGE RACER 7 and relax, and even UNDER DEFEAT HD for some good old fun.

I loved Split Second, it was my first platinum if I remember correctly. The Saboteur, Dante's Inferno, Puppeteer and 3 on 3 NHL Arcade were my favourites also and we still play the last two with my daughter. Puppeteer especially was such a unique game and absolutely gorgeous to look at still today.

I’ve been playing ps3 at 720p on a 1440p monitor and yeah it still looks real good. Played through the uncharted series and last of us for this first time last few weeks. Got a big back log now haha

I really want NBA Jam on Fire Edition but too bad it's gone. I no longer have any Xbox stuff but will look for the PS3 regular NBA Jam. NEver played Sly Cooper but will look for it. I was thinking of getting a Wii U to get shooters but the PS3 scratches that itch with HotD 3, 4, Overkill, Resident Evil Chronicles games, Time Crisis. Plenty of there. These shirts are nice, and I like that the ad wasn't too long or distracting. I'm really holding out for the GOTG branded Manscape ball trimmers... with demonstration.

I still play ratchet gladiator, toy story 3, resistance franchise or killzone on my ps3 in 2022. I play online on Cod and Battlefield, still find a lot of player in all game that's crazy

I have to mention on the PS3 Fight Night Round 4 as well as Battlefield Bad Company 1&2. Bad Company has one the best single player storylines, it kinda reminds of those cheesy 80/90s army movies of a group of rag tag soldiers messing upwards.

Fight night champions was a really good game very underrated

My list would be... Infamous, Wet, Dead Space, Killzone, The Darkness, Metal Gear Solid 4, Red Dead Redemption, Condemned Bloodshot, Resistance 2. Amazing games all stuck on the 7th generation of gaming.

I owned the ps3 for many yrs..... I originally bought it for the blu-ray DVD player.... back in the day the blu-ray dvd player and the ps3 was the same price for us old guys lol... as far as the games goes..... when I found out they were phasing out this console I was like.... well might as well experience this system ..... today I just started playing my ps3 for the past 1 yr.... I started with soul caliber, street fighter, dead or alive and the need for speed series ...... I still have plenty more to check out.... Prince of Persia, assassins creed, far cry, god of war and many more. ... I have close to 200 games I have still yet to experience.....

For power the 360 is a superior console, and runs games smoother and at a higher frame rate. So if you can play it on an Xbox I'd recommend that. Also there is the issue that not all PS3's are backwards compatible with PS2 discs, so I'd highly recommend if you are in the market for a PS3 to make sure you pick up the PS3 fatboy. (an easy way to tell if you have the correct model is the PS2 BC console will have 4 usb ports on the front.)

Definitely have a lot of these games. All great games! I recently got Dragon's Crown. Been loving the S*** outta it! I will say I do prefer the On Fire Edition over the regular. It just reminds me of Tournament Edition on the SNES back in the 90's.

3D Dot Game Heroes, Shatter Folklore, Motorstorm, Joe Danger 1, Wipeout HD, Infamous 1 and 2, Rayman Legends, Ratchet and Clank Tools of Destruction as well as a Crack in Time, and Flower were all great titles. I am so happy Shatter is finally being rereleased next month. Best soundtrack in the modern gaming era. PS3 is the most underrated console of all time.

Some games still worth playing is: Shadows Of The Damned, No More Heroes, Asura's Wrath, Folklore, El Shaddai: Acension Of The Metatron, Killer Is Dead, Alice Madness Returns, Majin and the forsaken kingdom, Binary Domain, Puppeteer and Dantes Inferno. To name a few.

Just starting the video, so before I hear your picks so I'm not influenced I'm gonna throw down mine. Don't have a 360 anymore so I concede most multiplats play better there, but not an option. Skate 3. Red Dead Redemption. Metal Gear Solid 4 Demon Souls Ico/Shadow of the colossus 2 pack. My PS2 disk tray doesn't work, so I would use this verison. Infamous 2 Last of Us (I don't have ps4 version or remake) Street Fighter 4 Little Big Planet 3. 3D dot game heroes. Not all are my favourite from the generation, but the ones that are (Uncharted, Batman Arkham series, Deus Ex) I got on PC or PS4, so I would play them there.

I love the PS3. I bought a TON of games when they were practically being given away for $1-$5 when the PS4 was near the end of it's run and the PS5 had been announced. So there's still a crapton of games that others may have played a million times that I'm just getting to in 2022. Some of them I've played recently for Spooky season are Alice Madness Returns, Splatterhouse (the 2010 remake) and Bayonetta 1 for the 100th time. Next on my list to get to is Shadows Of The Damned. And then I've only got a stack of games as tall as I am left to play after that that I have yet to get to. PS3!

I still love to play motorstorm: pacific rift, still one of the best racing games ever made. Also a huge fan tales of graces:f, a hugely underated rpg that is the best in the tales series in my opinion. Great vid, thanks man

Uncharted and Killzone will never get old to me. Play the uncharted collection on ps4 though, Killzone 2 probably is most still played on ps3 game. MGS4 is close too. I also go back to resistance, infamous, dead space, and mass effect 2. I would say bioshock and the last of us as well but I play those on ps4 lol. Ps3 was the best generation imo.

Why is NBA jam on fire not available anymore? I think it was out for free for psn plus users I remember redeeming but didn’t download it will I be able to access it is psn offline on ps3 like on vita now?

Got to be honest, I sort of noped out on the PS series. The whole thing just got too much for me. I don't think I've ever played or seen one IRL. Learning is one thing, I just got overwhelmed. But who knows? I got my retro systems mostly lined out, so maybe I could be on the lookout for something new. Thanks for the heads up. I had no idea where to start or what games might be up my alley.

One more game I wanted to add before I leave. There is a game called Dante Inferno, very slept on game. If you like games like God of War, this game is definitely up your alley.

TNA was a god awful game, terrible controls, dull and practically unplayable online. Doesn't even come close to the Smackdown Vs Raw games. I did manage to pick up All-Stars for a couple of dollars a few months ago, that is a fun game.

Looks like the Sly collection jumped in price,.. showing up at 50 buckaroos on pricecharting (CIB) is it worth half a hundo? Since you guys mention you recently got into the box one.. and its almost 10 years old.. you could do a 10 games we still play on the XBONE
