10 AUTHENTIC Mississauga Restaurants to Inspire Travel ✈️ Greater Toronto CANADA
Best independent Mississauga restaurants for authentic food from Asia and Latin America. Try real Mexican tacos, Pakistani kababs, Singaporean laksa, Filipino Pork Sigsig, Venezuelan reina pepiada, Korean soon tofu, Ecuadorian hornado, Indonesian rendang, Colombian calentado.
Mississauga is the real deal for authentic food.
Mississauga has over 1800 restaurants from over 150 countries. I hope this video inspires you to explore the city and to discover something new.
Now, I don't think it does justice to call it a suburb of Toronto, because really, it's a city in itself. It has 22 neighborhoods and villages, and three quarters of a million people that's larger than some provinces in Canada.
And so I'm going to share with you the best restaurants in Mississauga that have authentic international cuisine. This is an opportunity to explore before you travel.
They may not big marketing budgets to make the top 10 lists but they serve real, authentic food from a country. These businesses are the heart of Mississauga - the entrepreneurs, the mom and pop shops, the family run businesses, the ones that have survived last few years, which have been so tough, and that's because their food is amazing.
My second visit to Mississauga was as delicious as my first! Last time I visited the Mississauga Lakeshore, video here: • 10 Mississauga Restaur...
This time I chose 5 restaurants in Latin American countries that served authentic food: Mexican, Ecuadorian, Colombian, Venezuelan and Peruvian.
I also chose 5 authentic Asian restaurants: Pakistani, Korean, Singaporean, Filipino and Indonesian.

We had eaten at Lion City a few years back. Food was very good. But the restaurant closed last year.

Hola Ayngelina, Great video.. :) We just moved to Sauga almost a year ago. So this is really cool to see and check out the different foods this City has to offer, but most importantly the different type of Latin food... As you know we were in EC last year and looking at possibly Colombia next year. So good to know.. Also very cool you showed I guess from past visits all that Port Credit has to offer which is our hood. Well take care and Happy Travels!!

Port Credit is awesome but I think everyone knows that 😊 but Mississauga has so many other great spots. I was constantly turning my head in the Uber looking at more restaurants that looked delicious. Where are you thinking of for Colombia?

@@ayngelina Looking at Medellin and Cartagena and possibly Santa Marta. .. Have you been to Bar Catalina here in PC or the new El Mariachi here as well?
@ayngelina
Жыл бұрын
I believe Bar Catalina is Spanish and one of my secrets is that I think Spanish food is overrated. I’ve been to Spain several times and it just doesn’t have the diversity or acidity that other countries have. Even if you rave about food in Barcelona that area is Catalonia it’s not traditional Spanish food. I looked at visiting El Mariachi but I was a bit skeptic so if it was authentic and Pa’l Antojo is owned by a Mexican woman and everyone who works there is Mexican so I knew I couldn’t go wrong. Have you been there?
Wow ! Great video and tips of unique restaurants! I cant wait to try them all . Keep it up! Are there any unique restaurants in Collingwood or Blue mountain?

Come back to Mississauga and marry me!!!
Mississauga is such an amazing city for an abundance of flavours. Tops Favourites: Korean try Owl of Minerva or Onnuri. For Mediterranean: Osmows. For Japanese Ramen try, Kamen Ramen! All amazing places to eat.

I know you always mention at the end of your videos XX% of viewers are not subscribed… I believe it’s somewhat of a paradox, your content is very high quality. Perhaps too high quality for the amount of views that the videos get. I noticed a similar trend with a couple that were traveling together as well. Great content but super high production quality and they also suffer from low views on the videos. To be honest I don’t watch to the very end of your videos so I don’t know if they are sponsored or if you do this all by your self. But I noticed the videos that are filmed more vlog type rather than, I’m not sure what style to call yours but it has a commercial type aspect to it, and I don’t mean as in advertisements, but the quality like it’s a tv show. Anyway the vlog type tend to get 100-1000x more views. I believe because they are more immersive, you know no cut scenes nor background music. You series is good but is probably more suited for tv than internet. Regardless keep up the good work and I wish you the best of luck.

I really appreciate that you left such a thoughtful comment. As I grow more comfortable shooting videos I'm trying to experiment a bit more so here in India I am doing a bit more vlogging style. It's a bit different for me but it's always good to grow.
With people there in Mississauga paying thousands of dollars for rent how can they afford to eat out?

@@ayngelina Hola Ayngelina, I have visited Thailand many times and would like to visit Vietnam to see what it's like. What's your favorite country in Asia so far and when are you coming to visit me here in Mexico?
@ayngelina

Vietnam is amazing and you should definitely go, a much different vibe from Thailand. It’s too hard to pick a favourite country anywhere. Each has its own charms. Heading back to Latin America is on the to do list but need to figure out the visa situation for Alan as it’s a bit complicated.

@@ayngelina I know getting a long term visa is the issue for me in relocating to any country. The Philippines seems easy and Mexico where I've been living for years on just an FMM tourist visa. Vietnam is considering a 90 day visa where you have to do border runs every 3 months. Albania and Georgia allow U.S. citizens to live there for 1 year.

Vietnam announced the 90 day visa will begin in August. And visa runs are very easy depending on where you are.
