How so? The Olympics are filmed, the iron man was apparently filmed or they wouldn't have been able to go back through footage, car races are filmed, baseball is live, American football is filmed, it's irrelevant that viewers found out the fact that they were injuring people intentionally was not live. The only one that couldn't have been live was the transgender competing as a woman. Not to mention in all of these there are spectators, automatically making it 'live'

They weren't caught live. The majority of these people were caught cheating after the event happened. The Paralympic team won 5 medals, the badminton match throwing was caught afterwards, the Saints putting bounties on players went on for a while before it was investigated. The events happened live, but they weren't caught live.

I would say that the Spanish basketball team pretending to be disabled was the grossest display of misconduct on the list. That goes beyond just cheating. That's straight up disgusting and insulting to disabled people who try as hard as they can to get to play on that stage. Makes me sick.

people are so oblivious to the fact that it's occurred hundreds of times in cricket, their lives have essentially been ruined from something that should have had a far lesser consequence. Im not saying I condone what they did, but it's part of the game and Smith shouldn't be loosing millions of dollars, not be able to play cricket at any level in Australia for a year, and have people think he's the biggest bastard ever for something that in the grand scheme of thing is a fairly minor infraction. Smith coped it on the chin so that a young player was not ridiculed and hated souly for the event. Again, im not saying I think what they did was right, im just trying to show the other side of the story.

This video does not tell the whole story. It was an order from the team principal - which then later caught and punished by that racing governing body (FIA). There is a long video out there explains the whole thing. Quite fascination story.

In this type of competition the top two teams of each group go through to the next round. The team that comes second in the group gets to play the team that comes second in the another group. They cheated because they deliberatly lost so that they could play a slightly lesser team from the next group and so improve their chances of going further in the competition.

Zoran Randjelovic he wasnt "cheating" he was caught using drugs that gave him a potentially gave him an edge. Thats different than actually cheating to guarantee a victory.

Using PED's is against the rules of the sport and is thus cheating. Granted Cycling is a dirty sport with next to no credibility but still rules are rules.

Baseball cheats are always so strange. Pine tar, sand paper, corked bats (which doesn’t even work) - it’s like an evil McGyver who has to win but is only given a shoelace, a pine cone, and a couple rocks to work with.

Scuffing, taring and greasing are a historical part of baseball.

It’s football, not soccer....... I’m joking, call it whatever you want. 😂

You forgot to mention, Mark McGuire, Sammy Sosa, Barry Bonds and Lance Armstrong for Drugging in their careers. I agree with your list, but those players and cyclist were drugging lifetime, not just one infraction

I worked with someone that had been a professional cyclist in his younger years. He had told me ALL cyclists use drugs, but that didn't take away from the fact that before drugging they still had to be exceptionally athletic.

crazyjr saints were never proved to cheating, the case went to federal court and roger goodell refused to testify. And stats proved saints had caused the least amount of injuries to other teams so the bounty thing was really a sham and goodell abusing his power
